  • I was thinking about you and the laptops this week. I think whatever you do you wouldn't feel good. It's
    Unwinnable.
But how kind of you to replace both. That's very special.

Sounds like you're nesting with all that cleaning! Exciting times.

Never mind nesting, I thought we nearly had a baby in our hands last night! We had just went to bed and then I got theeee worst cramping feeling in my stomach, I thought I was about to go into labour! Had a late night trip to A&E, spent 6 hours there and then we were able to come home this morning. Everything is well, and no idea what it all was, but I am relieved we don't have a baby, yet! My poor OH was great even with me hysterically crying that we never had a car seat and how I haven't had my baby shower yet :rotfl: needless to say he's a bit terrified for the real deal if that was me during a trial run!

Sunday lunch was put on hold due to us having basically no sleep. So today I have spent it napping, reading, went out for some brunch and I am about to have a shower, get my pyjamas on, order a dominos and eat my weight in chocolate for the rest of the evening.

Can't be bothered with work tomorrow, but not long until I finish up and I have my baby shower this weekend! :heartpuls xxx

Oh wow RC I wonder what it Was! At least baby is safe and sound where it should be!
  • The way I understand available credit is its favourable you use between 40-50% that's available to you. So keeping it open would probably improve your rating....if you have the self control not to spend it. Sometime if you have 0 balance this can effect your lending too as they lend to make money from interest payments. !!!!!!s!

Fair play on the laptops. Your money your choice. Such a nice thing to do for her bf too really shows that you respect him and welcome him into the family. I bet he feels very thankful he has a potential mother in law that will treat him well. X

  • I know who knows Louby, only bonus was we got another scan and a chance to see the baby again -
    I love them! :)

Aww thanks Hannah, I hope he does feel that way - they are good kids! I won't be tempted because I don't have a card or know the PIN so think I will keep it open for now.

I called in sick to work today, just couldn't face it after a night of limited sleep! I know I won't have sleep much longer, but just taking advantage of a day off whilst I can. Nothing was wrong last night, just couldn't get comfy and had terrible heartburn.

Anywayyy, I know this is a money diary, not an update you all about my pregnancy diary! But I have no money news, I am hoping to have 4 NSD's this week, Monday-Thursday, get paid on Friday and don't really have much of an option not to have NSD's as my bank account is looking as bad as I feel right now! xxx

  • Aww thanks Rebecca, I believe that too, so hopefully their time will come soon – idiots!

Pay day tomorrow, payslips in and slightly better than expected, but won’t be as good a month of paying off debts as I anticipated because of the laptops, to book Brighton hotel and my MOT is due 12th August. BUT….my friend added me to a group on fb for selling designer clothes and I had a look at half the stuff wasn’t even designer (in my eyes) and going for a good bit of money, sooo…I have put up an old leather purse that someone is paying £120 for, someone is coming to look at a dress for £50 tonight and I put up a pair of shoes, that have had a few comments on, but no one wants them yet. Every little helps xxx
