Well done on your not so spendy weekend.
Loads of my colleagues are out tomorrow for a leaving do after work, meal and drinks. The person that's leaving isn't someone I particulary friendly with so I made the decision not to go! This is very unlike me, as I love a meal out and a natter with friends, but it would have cost me £20 probably so I said no!
The £20 can go towards something more important e.g a debt!0 -
Thanks Louby, all these things going on are so tempting but we just need to learn to say no - so well done you!!
PAY DAY IS TOMORROW!!!! :j:j:j
Didn't sell any of my 3 items I planned, must try harder....will do it this month!!
Made it to pay day without using a credit card!!!
I have £1500 in commission getting paid tomorrow, so the plan for this is:
£1000 towards debt and the remaining £500 will go towards a £260 gas bill that I pay quarterly that I don't budget for! Plus my MOT is due on 12th August, so dreading that!!!Starting debt £18,675.63

Thanks everyone, especially Smodlet with those images I now have :rotfl:
Went to Nandos last night and spent £20 and then £10 on some wine and chocolate and met my friend this morning for coffee and cake at £5 - that is my pay day treat....spending needs to stop now.
Having a quiet weekend and looking after my sisters 2 kids tonight. The old me would have taken them for dinner, maybe the cinema and then tomorrow felt the need to take them to softplay and McDonalds. The new me is making them dinner, we will have a movie night and I have microwave popcorn and crisps and sweets in and tomorrow I will take them to the park before they get picked up.
Not going to spend a penny on food until next weekend have lunches made up in the freezer and plenty stuff for dinners. I will put petrol in my car for Monday and I am going to freeze my debit card and keep it out of reach all week.
I forgot it's the caravan weekend this month to pay for. Going Friday morning and back Monday evening. Paid for caravan so just money on food/drink when we are there...I am going to try promote making sandwiches for lunches or coming back and making something then at least it's only dinners to buy...still probably spend about £150 I imagine...great!
Off to do my housework and might go to the gym if I have time...have a good weekend everyone xxxStarting debt £18,675.63
