  • Haha please don't say that Note!!!

Went to the gym last night with my friend and she smelt amazing, was Tom Ford perfume that she said she treated herself too....I just thought was a treat as I know Tom Ford is on the pricey side, had a look online just there......brace yourself....£215.00!! I normally spend £100 on perfume I wear, didn't even know they went up to these prices...ridiculous!! It did smell lovely though lol

  • Roomontheend....thanks for reading and wishing me luck! Do you have a diary? I will go have a read if you do!

    In other news.......

Father Father I have sinned....I have spent £203.50 on skincare

I bought a face mask called Glamglow that I swear by and at £50 a pop it isn't cheap but works miracles.

I impulse bought ACID  for my face! It is called Alpha H Liquid Gold and I have read raving reviews about it and I am since addicted!! My skin felt wonderful after one application!! So that was a well spent £33.50

My moisturiser that I use is an eye watering £120, I know it is an expensive brand By Terry, but I have used it over a year and it really agrees with my skin. I only need 2 pots a year and I am reluctant to change it up.

The bad news is this is my MOT money....my MOT is due on the 12th August so if by miracle I don't have any repairs we are safe....very unlikely so that £200 over payment on my credit card will probably need to be used again.

I will be having a very frugal month next month! xxx

No RC I don't have a diary but I a seriously thinking of starting one. As I think it might help me focus and ways come up with ways to make extra cash over the summer. I have been doing some supply teaching and obviously this has dried up until about October when the teachers will start getting ill again. September will be sparse as they will all be rolling back in fresh as daisies.

I used to be like you living in my overdraft around the 5k mark, but paid this off about 18 months ago. At one time in was the norm to look at the balance and work out how much of it we had left rather than now when I try everything to keep it this side of the black. My OH and I would spend an eye watering amount on clothes, gadgets and shoes. It's lovely read about your journey and I can see you making real progress.

Perhaps it could be thought of as an investment for your job. Do you have much contact with the public? Look at me rationalizing your purchases.

I hope you are ok for MOT. That would be fantastic if you pass.
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

  • ROTE a diary does help keeping you accountable and on track I think. I was like that with my overdraft too, always treated it like my own money!! Must have spent so much on charges over the years!!

I don't really have any contact with the public Mila, but let's just go with that anyway...it is an investment.

Received an email last night about a pair of shoes I returned to Kurt Geiger about 6 months ago!! They had lost them and I forgot all about them but they have processed a refund of £49.99 into my bank so that was a bit of unexpected good news.

Also have £6.27 pending from my skincare splurge on Topcashback, says 3 weeks normally takes about 33!! But anything is better than nothing.

I am off work next week and my week is filling up too fast with things that cost money!!! I have the dreaded caravan Friday-Monday this weekend, meeting a friend for lunch - think I will suggest we go to Pizza express and use my vouchers! I also have a friends 30th and an engagement party...busy week!! Then the week after is my MOT!!!

Bad thing about being off work is I don't get commission so I am going to lose a week and a half of sales as off Thursday Friday this week and all next week...this is for Septembers wage so that isn't the best, but I can't work every day of the year lol

Incase anyone is looking for a new TV show to watch I will share my latest find....Power. It is so so good!! I am nearly finished it! Season 1 only has 8 episodes, season 2 has 10 and season 3 has just started and on episode 2. It is about a New York drug gang and they are money laundering through a Nightclub...I am the worst at explaining things, but just go watch it!!

Better go and pretend to work...hope you all have a good day xxx

I've watched first episode of that power you mention...is it the one where they have magic powers and the cop used to be diamond?

DD1 came home from work to find her home had been robbed. The only things taken was her gold diamond rings x 2 (one was her grandmother's wedding ring) and her platinum diamond and birthstone ring. But

One of the neighbors had seen a man walking up and down the street but not much of a discription for police to go on. So now she has put up security cameras and bought a lock for the car gate leading to her drive and house. I'm just thankful she wasn't home.

We have hit over 30k paid off our debt not bad from 54k but sadly still 24k left to pay. However I surprisingly feel spured on but the fact we have managed this much dispite me losing my full time job.
