Given only one digit is wrong, it doesn't look to me like a deliberate attempt to hide. If that was the case, all 8 digits would be wrong.
Given small claims cases are based on 'balance of probabilities', I can't see a judge agreeing that a one digit error (given the name of the company is also on the sign anyway) would invalidate a contract, and it most certainly isn't a deliberate attempt to scam people.
If there was a risk it would invalidate the contract, why would the PPC do it? Their entire basis for these silly monetary claims is that a contract has been formed with the driver.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Whilst it's probably a "typo" the more pressing matter would be, do Britannia Parking Group Ltd actually have a contract with the landowner to manage the car park.0
