You mean that the previous iteration of Britannia Parking Ltd changed its name to Car Park 2015 Ltd on the day that it went into administration.

On the same day Airport Parking (Free Shuttle) Ltd changed its name to Britannia Parking Ltd.

How is this relevant?

A number of statements have been made in this thread all of which have failed under the simplest level of scrutiny and that point you have attempted to change the focus of your argument to something else.

Do you have a copy of the current KADOE register or are you basing your latest point on the 2015 version?

What exactly is it you are trying to say?

With respect to try to make out what is plainly a simple typo as something distinctly sinister does no one any favours.

When this was pointed out you changed tack and tried:

Given that to this point your focus had been on the company running the car park - Britannia Parking Group - and this was pointed out you shifted again and went to:

You were told again that the name Britannia Parking Ltd is not on the sign and that in any event Britannia Parking Ltd exists you tried to recover this by posting:

Your were close enough with this but the company didn't go into receivership and there is nothing wrong in a company changing its name. And you were asked how this was relevant to your earlier claims?

Rather than address that you have no gone off down another avenue with regard to how a dormant company can appear on a KADOE register.

For Gawd sake stick to one topic or at least do people the courtesy of accepting that you are not always careful with your facts or sometimes shoot from the hip.

you have decided to run this thread around , my initial posting was to express the views by the BPA , that they do not give a toss about signage , and have clearly not audited that site
and what's more they have no intention of having it corrected







my copy of the KODOE lists are the 2015 version , as we have not yet got to the end of the first month in 2016 , a 2016 version is not yet available

Identifying the parties in a contract is key to the validity of that contract. It's a major issue within the Construction industry when the large plc's set up ltd companies for specific projects but correspond under the plc's banner. It becomes difficult to ascertain exactly who you are contracting with. The Company registration number is vital as a double check.

Yes, but in this case we're talking about someone (possibly even the sign manufacturer, who knows?) making a simple typo, NOT an attempt to scam people by hiding their identity.

The thread, like all others on here when someone offers the proper explanation of the facts, then veers all over the place introducing new, highly irrelevant points.

It IS like pulling teeth.

I understand what you are saying but where do you draw the line with typos? Number of free hours, payment etc? The identity of the contracting entity is a core part of the contract. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the PPC to ensure that their contracts are valid.


Granted a court up to the level of a small claims may let it go depending on the judge. However, a scam it does not need to be to invalidate the contract.
