As said, frames and architrave should be undercut, whilst there is colour match sealants available, it looks crap, it's not just that beading that's wrong, you really shouldn't have to be filling in around the door frames.
Whilst I agree you got a cheap fitting price, it's no excuse, he's certainly no joiner. It's not about you paid this much so you get this standard of work...laminate flooring should be fitted under door frames etc and as someone else says then beading will only run along skirting edges. Looking at that , I'd think it was a diy bodge, just because you pay cheap doesn't mean you should accept a job like that, simply it hasn't been done right, it's not like undercutting frames is an optional extra that you should pay extra for.
Personally I'd want it ripped up and done again.

That job is terrible but given the price paid you can't really expect too much.

To put things in perspective though. I consider myself above average at doing DIY...but way below average at woodwork.

These are how mine came out.

My first attempt at flooring using some laminate from Wickes:

My second attempt at flooring using some B&Q laminate:

A professional should have been doing better than I did!

    Regards
    Phil

After reading all the comments I am swaying towards the idea of having the whole hallway ripped up and done again by someone else. I can barely afford it, and it's terribly disappointing.

Ironically, he was asking me how to promote his business before I inspected his 'craftmanship.'

I would like to give preference to local tradesmen, and keep reading they are competing with Polish. However, the attitude of many local tradesmen stinks. Even if it was a cheap job, I offered to pay more. The guy stormed off, and I got a hint he basically couldn't be bothered.

As a previous poster said I would try and trim the beading so it fits all those little niggly bits.

Cutting multiple pieces of beading to do all those faces would be impossible

    Budget laminate is so 90's
Its very yesteryear now is laminate

its very mid nighties old hat cold feel.

Not really useful advice is it? We get you dont like it.

It is a very easy job even on click laminate to lay under architrave,i've done it countless times.

That is a shocking job OP and i would be mad too.Beading never really looks right with laminate though and a lot of the floors i've laid always gets new skirting after the floor.

My advice would be to rip it up. Rip the skirtings off too (if you can get the old skirting off without too much hassle great it can be reused) Get someone to re-lay the floor and put skirting back on.No need for any beading then.

Plenty of people crying 'cheap laminate'- thats not the point, its the finish and fitting which makes it look good

White silicone, warm it up in hot water first so it is warm and easy to apply, cut the tube and fill the back of the trim with silicone, you can use corking but it gets dirty.
You want something you can remove and certainly dont want the door frames chopping to bits.

Your posts indicate you have no knowledge whatsoever of how to lay a laminate floor

Have a go at recessing the beading yourself or mark it with a pencil and take it to a joiner's workshop.
