Anything Land Registry related, I MIGHT (no guarantees) be able to help. I deal with them often on a professional basis. Will try my best if needed. Just let me know.
Keep smiling. x

Hi
Here are the historical IHT allowances, so you can see the value of the combined IHT allowance.

Not sure if Land Registry Representative can tell you how to find out the completion date on a record (assuming that is public). Worth asking? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

the combined allowance work on % unused so a lot more info needed, you can't just add up two allowances from the table.0 -

The 'completion date' in conveyancing terms is normally the date inserted on the actual legal deed e.g. Transfer on a sale or say an Assent where an executor is transferring to a beneficiary.
If that is the detail you are trying to establish and the property is in England or Wales and registered then you can apply for a copy of that deed by completing the form with the details e.g. A transferring to B around mm/yy for example and pay £7“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Land Registry. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
Update: sisters hubby, co-exec, has all of a sudden turned up with bank statements of ONE of Dad's cash accounts (he explained that everything was there - but no...) will address this with him tomorrow (and my hubby is getting statements from ALL banks tomo anyway). There appears to be some discrepancies as well as one some statements "missing".
Until we get missing statements and whilst I understand that we are unable to prove cash withdrawals that have been made, if the amount was a cheque/s or indeed an amount transferred to anyone, since sister was POA, (if I consider it may be a fraudulent payment by her) how would/could we prove it?0 -

As she had POA, she should have kept records to show what the money was being spent on.
When I was managing Dad's money, I kept a notebook with me and made a note of everything I spent on his behalf (even if it was just a newspaper). The cash spending then went onto a spreadsheet with all the other outgoings so that every penny was accounted for.
It's up to her to prove any money taken out of the accounts was spent correctly.0 -
Thank you Mojisola - am afraid that sister will justify with more of her long list of lies...0

We are still in progressing with our investigations regarding sister and co-executor.
My question today is when should Pecuniary Legacies be paid out?0 -
Not until you know the value of the estate and the liabilities. If the net value is less than the specified amount, then they get them pro-rata not in total.
If anyone yelps, tell them you are still trying to get info out of the other executor and wife.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Thanks RAS - It is Sister and Co-exec who are demanding the PL as these cash amounts are for their children...! They continue to disregard anything that is going on at the mo...0
