Does an open OS means that you have to find and download your own? Like Android or Windows?

It has the play store like any normal android phone and Google play services but with no preloaded bloat. So if you don't like the gallery app for example, just uninstall it and get a new one from the play store

It's basically a customised version of Android that you can changed any of the preloaded apps for any others on the play store. Or if you're not into that just use it out the box like my Wife has done
