A hole in BT broadband T&Cs?

  • And, by the way, that document with the paragraph 31 is still one of those I have to click on. Exactly like the Tariff Guide.

So this is like a matrioshka: you have to open one, to go to open another one to get the important information.

Not right. It should be on the first 'legal stuff' I received in the welcome e-mail.

Why they mentioned early termination charges in the initial document and not this payment for the equipment? Selective structure of their T&Cs for their own aims.

No difference really in having to click to take you straight to the correct page, or scroll though pages and pages. In actual fact, I think clicking is easier than having to search for each section.

It's all important information in one way or another so it all has to be listed. As such, there will always be something at the end.

Anyway, you are best taking this up with BT if you are saying they didn't supply you with the required information that others seem to have had. Maybe there is a reason for it?

That is because you do not have a single BT product but one that is an aggregate of some of their other products. Therefore the T&Cs for each of those single product e.g. line rental, broadband, BT TV need to looked at as a separate product
If they didn't do it this way then you would have to scroll through a list of different T&Cs to find the one that applied to your selection of products
