A laptop from the USA for £230?? How would that help you?
Did you click through the links in post #41? Exactly there you were informed that laptop was rubbish.
I already told you which laptop to purchase. But you seem intent on shooting yourself in the foot.0 -

it's the first link I found, it was just an example of the model he was talking about, chill out.
yeah I clicked on those links, I must have missed that specific laptop, I apologise
EDIT: I actually seen that post after I bought the laptop this morning.0 -

it's out of stock . and to be honest the 2gb put me off a bit, I'd need 4gb0 -

You can cancel and rdecline to accept delivery. First the Chromebook and then this? It seems that you are taking little notice of what you are being told.0 -

That was when your budget was £70. Are you being deliberately obtuse?

Ok. No I am not obtuse, just trying to understand the tech side. Also a bit manic as my personal workload is piling up because of this (I have a small part time business)

Also I didn’t go for the £49 Dell as I was a bit put off by the smaller keyboard, it doesn’t have number keys on the right end side (small things perhaps but it does affect me in my work)

I’ll probably see if I can return the Toshiba

What do you think about this one? It was recommended earlier

ASUS X555LA
£289 Amazon

Also what do you think of this Amazon review of the Toshiba (he seems to mention the same issues you mentioned), do you agree with the laptops he recommends?

Is there something wrong with you? Really? Now you are asking me about a laptop £89 over your maximum budget?
Once again, post #52. If you don't understand, I really can't help you anymore. I have no idea as to why you are still banging on about the £49 machine. That was to fit a £70 budget.
So, no more excuses about not understanding or heavy workloads. Post #52 is as good as you will get for your budget.
I have to be blunt, otherwise you will just wander off and buy more crud.0 -

No I don't agree with his two year old recommendations, I'm telling you to buy the laptop in post #52.0 -
