    Oh, I don't know.

The usual suspects will eventually come along to inform us that these are all made-up numbers, and that in reality all these people only have pretend jobs funded by tax credits and food banks, and that revolution is only just around the corner, just as soon as everyone realises the depth of the conspiracy, and stops believing in the lies of the Tory Press.

Quite. Again, the proportion of new employment that isn't full time (and is therefore zero hour contracts) has jumped. It's almost at 26% now. Applying that ratio to the whole population and that's like another three million people pushed over to zero hour contracts (and hence zero wages) on top of the five million you previously calculated. Dark times indeed.
If you think of it as 'us' verses 'them', then it's probably your side that are the villains.

FACT: All new non-full time contracts are zero hours contracts
FACT: The proportion of the workforce overall on zero hours contracts is the same as the proportion of new contracts

Remind me again what 'Fact' means?
    I think....

It stands for "Fact And Canonical Truth".

Also, FACT: People on zero hour contracts literally work zero hours.

But for how many hours are they employed?

You can't equate part time work with zero hours contracts and not all people on zero hours contracts work zero hours.

Why are you still pushing that same gibberish?

The latest LMS shows employment up by 266,625 compared to the previous quarter; 70% of that was full-time, 30% of it was part-time. But that has nothing to with zero hour contracts. Only a small minority of those working part-time are on ZHC; they are not the same thing.

You can be employed full-time on a ZHC, for one thing.

The ONS says that the average part-time workers works an actual 16.2 hours per week.

Well, it seems that I did, so I guess I can.

If you can't figure that out then you must be on a zero hour contract. Fact.

I don't think I know anyone who would say that.
