Well done! All cash now in your pocket and not theirs!

Have been pretty good. This month OH and kids had F&C one eve when I was away and last Thurs DD2 has a chippy tea. The rest of us ate at home. However OH and I are going out to dinner ;) :j tomorrow eve and also went out last week. But will be using a 1/3 off voucher so feel a little more MSE about it. And needed as cheaper than a divorce!:)

    So how's that Debs? 6/10?? ;)

Not bad at all brizzle not bad at all - not been so great for us - perhaps picking the month I go into hospital to track this was not the best idea:rotfl: Ate out on Mother's Day and the night before I went into hospital, had takeaway the night I came home from hospital an another night since, OH came home and took me out of lunch to cheer me up a bit on Tuesday (stuck in house and can't drive yet) and we all ate out on Sunday evening (that had been planned for a long time as it was before going to a pre booked event ) but the meal planning and grocery shopping have continues and grocery spend has been pretty under control -

OH car went in for service today - looks like it's going to be in the region of £500:eek: so am going to fund it a bit from emergency savings and a bit from the overpayments pot - am trying not to get too frustrated about it a couple of years ago it would have just gone on the plastic fantastic and got forgotten about so it's progress on that mindset at least..... Away to re jig my overpayment schedule and update list of shame to follow

Sounds like a big improvement debs on the inpromptu TAs and quite frankly if you've been recovering that's a great month of restraint.

Boo to cars...hate shelling out for those unexpected bills.

Have a great weekend..doing anything nice?

Well done on taking the debt bull by the horns. I think you can be excused the odd take away this month if you are recovering from surgery.

You will get on track after Easter I am sure. I think there is a site called fakeaway or something, where it shows you how to get a fairly authentic take away experience but at home.

    Good luck

Thanks Chev will def take a look at that site- so have made the overpayments and updated my signature. 14.3% paid off since the start of the year - would have been a nice round 15% if it hadn't been for the blooming car service:mad: but it's heading in the right direction which is the main thing am determinednot to fall off the wagon this time and that this will be my last debt free diary.......and then I can make a start on a shiney new mortgage free diary - nothing like getting ahead of yourself :rotfl: got to have a dream :D
