So 1 TT done for the grand total of 6p:rotfl: no bids on the eBay stuff but everything I listed has watchers - doesn't close until Sunday evening so plenty of time for the big bids to come in (she hopes)
Still on zero takeaways for the month but will be reporting a dinner out on Sunday (well it is Mother's Day)

So Friday night was a close call on the takeaway - was swamped all day at work so didn't have time to make planned chilli before ds1 and ds2 had to head out to their activities ( Friday evenings in the scotdebs house are a bit manic) managed to feed them from the cupboard/ fridge and OH dashed out the door as I started to think about what to make for us when he got home - with the takeaway menu winking at me I headed into the depths of the chest freezer in the garage determined to find something- discovered a takeaway curry sauce that I had frozen when they had given us 2 by mistake - RESULT quickly defrosted some chicken and we were on our way - mmmmm something missing says me- nan bread- maybe I should just pop to shop and buy some said the spendy scotdebs devil - how hard can it be to make :mad:some said the MSE scotdebs angel :A - and made some I did and it was blooming lush !!!! I can honestly say I will never buy nan bread again
3 eBay items ending later today 2 already have bids the other has a few watchers so keeping fingers crossed - weather lovely here today so going to drag boys up a hill before we head out for a PLANNED dinner out
Hope everyone else is having a great weekend and happy mums day to allCC debt Aug 2018 £50.2K

CCL- stole it off the all recipe internee site - very easy to follow - do try and make it very thin though does make a difference - also I put a wee drop of minced up garlic through the melted butter kept for basting (not mixing)

Its a lush thing to have - we have naan, rice and daal about once a week. Do you have a bread maker? Even easier then. Agree would never buy it (unless a peshwari one in a restaurant
)
How was Mother's Day dinner then? Hope you had a good day.
I can honestly say I am whiter than white so far on the TA Hall of Shame...haven't even be tempted
On the other hand..found a holiday catalogue about Greece from last year when I was decluttering trying to find a mislaid V5..and am now wondering how I can conjure up £2k...which rather puts the odd TA into the shade really:eek: Now if I hadn't started looking for said document I wouldn't be in this dilemma....:eek:

Oh god brizzle if think you are my mirror image living some where in the UK- whilst I too am a pagan of virtue on the TAs - I have been trying to calculate how much I would have to save/make and not impact the overpayment schedule for a trip to New York for the 4 of us :rotfl:
Dinner on Sunday was £70 for the 4 of us and there will actually be another dinner tonight however with good reason I'm going into hospital for an op and will pretty much not be out of the house for a good few weeks after ......... Now how much were those flights to Newark again......CC debt Aug 2018 £50.2K

Love it debs...good to know we have a doppleganger out there somewhere
Small victories..at least its not just automatically going on the CC..
Managed to restrain my eating out gene (yes you read right, am blaming it on my parental line..my grandfather never ate out..waste of money he thought and my grandmother cooked so well, no real need..he'd be horrified at the amounts we spend.. so I reckon I am an adverse reaction to that approach) twice..once last week after a funeral
and second today, when thought me and OH could have lunch out. I had crackers and YS pate instead :rotfl: and he's gone out to do a platelets donation..oh we have the high life alright
So..NY hey??..reckon you could do it.
Am really thinking on Greece. Mainly depends on whether OH can get any leave this summer - I will need a holiday and currently UK just aint cutting it..although today is sunny but bitterly cold.
