However all that depends on your lease, what does it say???
3(23)(a) Not to park or to suffer or permit to be parked upon any parking space allocated to the Premises any vehicle other than a private motor car which is taxed and in roadworthy condition or such other motor vehicle as may be first approved in writing by the Landlord acting in absolute discretion at any time
3(23)(a) Not to park on any part of the Estate a commercial vehicle exceeding 15cwt. (unladen weight) except where where the same results from the temporary use of removal or delivery vans
This is the only mention of parking I can see, I have put the lease online but as a newbie I not allowed to post links or images. I could message the link to someone.0 -
If your lease/AST grants you "quiet enjoyment" of your pesidence, then the PPC/MA may well be in breach of the Landlords and Tenants Acts, a criminal offence.
You might like to draw this to the attention of the Managing Agents.
From the lease:
5(1) That the Leaseholder paying the rents hereby reserved and performing and observing the covenants herein contained may peaceably enjoy the Premises during the Term without any lawful interruption by the Landlord or any person rightfully claiming under or in trust for it.
Thank you I will add that.0 -
I always say on these cases to look for a catch all clause in the lease that allows the management company to introduce measures that it thinks fit for the running of the site.
Please look and see if one exists in your case. It will almost certainly NOT specifically mention parking.
You can also ask for a white list inclusion and ask that your parking space is removed from the sphere of the PPC patrol and that you will accept responsibility and not hold the management company liable for anyone parking, with or without your permission, in your designated space.0 -
And were you displaying this permit as required and was it valid? If no to either or both, why not? What is the evidence against you?
I'm new to this forum but why we've gone into the minutiae of procedure before establishing the facts is a little strange IMO.
Hello PPC World. Someone with very few posts suddenly springing up with 'advice' and leading questions is almost as transparent as someone who keeps posting in the hope I will react...I wasn't born yesterday. There's always an agenda with some posters. Some very nasty.
You are keen for people to go into the detail of what happened. We are not, and we know how to win these appeals, especially against a useless bunch like 'Ethical' (one of the most infamous oxymorons in the 'industry').PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

To post images, scan the picture or document (redacted if needs be) and upload it to a web hosting site such as tinypic or photobucket. Then post the URL but change http to hxxp and someone here will change it to make it a live link.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Did you not return to your vehicle between the 2 notices? If you did, why not display the permit as you have one given that the first notice gave you warning of what was happening?
Is your permit displayed now?0 -
Why would Awool need to display a permit? From the Plain Language Commission:
