The Power block for my PC has given up the ghost. PC supplier (custom built) no longer stocks them. They are trying to source something else.
Can anyone suggest alternatives? I don't pretend to understand all the input and output malarky so may be missing something out there.
Grateful of any assistance....:)

Search on eBay with the model number, or the make/model of PC it came with, plus 'PSU', 'Power supply' or similar.
If that fails, google the model number under google 'shopping'0 -
I've tried all that (first).
I got it nearly 3 years ago so, I'm thinking it's out of production........So looking for another that will power up the PC.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Try somewhere like here

Do a Google search for adaptor or Transformer putting in the output required as written on your old one. I can't see very well from the pic, but it looks like its 110-240 input which will be very universal and 12v 16 a output. That's a lot of amps though. What does it say?NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

Looks like that brick you have RR is based on the xbox 360 xenon (2005) adaptor, unfortunately the pic has disappeared from tiny pic to confirm, can you re-up with a better pic so we can actually read the label with certainty ? The xbox one PSU looks easier to mod as it's only two wires but you're in chinese knock-off territory here and all the QC/QA that implies.
Perhaps the PSU failure was down to running W10 and not being compatibleScience isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
right clicked and saved this morning as I was trying to match it
all the ones of that wattage I have seen have been the 4 pin plug type http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=10#univ (scroll down to the 192w type) however I have not had dealings with xbox 360 devices.
It could assist if the OP stated the type of motherboard/CPU and drives fitted , then a calculation could be done for him http://powersupplycalculator.net/
PS: CPC keep the 192w one in stock http://cpc.farnell.com/powerpax/ptd-12150/ac-dc-switch-mode-power-supply/dp/PW02602?ost=12v+psu+192w&selectedCategoryId=&categoryId=700000010074 however it is the 4 pin typeSave a Rachael

Cheaper from Maplin, £50 inc:

You would have to either create a 4 pin din adaptor out of your existing PSU lead or mod the PSU directly with your existing lead. Those 4 pin dins look to be look to be a split off a single rail to provide 2 rails however just to be on the safe side I'd double check by opening up the PSU:

Whoa people.........I'm not making anything....:eek::D
My patience and electrical skills won't even let me contemplate attempting it.
There will be a replacement out there somewhere. Still waiting the company coming back to me, they are trying to find one as well.
If memory serves me right (Not to be relied on) The processor is an i7 4770 with an ASRock B85M-ITX Motherboard.
I've looked on the suggested sites and Googled every combination. Any results so far have had the aforementioned four pin plug.
I think the closest was the one that 'Hasbeen' linked to, but, I'm not sure about the connector that has.
Fightsback..............I'm popping to Maplins at the weekend. They may help with replacing the connector......Was my next port of call....Thanks.
I am appreciating all the suggestions. Meanwhile....

You have to say W10 is the worst OS ever and that Linux rules.
:rotfl:I might even do it if I get desperate to have a proper PC up and running again....
