Is this a good deal for a car?

It's all relative to the condition of the vehicle and the mileage (if accurate ?) service history - all MOT's etc... maybe with a bit of haggling; you'll get it down to about £2500.00 which is about the correct value?0

I found another one that is 2007 with 71k miles. The lady has it priced at £3200 even though it has a damaged wheel and a big dent in the side that her 'brother will fix'. This is the second time I heard that from a lady seller. I talked to her about the price and her reason is that she has seen others for more and that it is owned by a lady driver that hasn't 'ragged about'.
I just got rid of a Seat Ibiza. I hated the damn thing, nothing but problems from the moment I bought it. Also I can't buy a car with 100k miles as I feel it's a waste spending money on it. Plus it's 54 miles away from me.
I found another zetec s 2007 with 105k miles from a dealer for £3000, I asked him to buy it for £2500 but his response was basically to f off.
I want something nippy and sporty. Travelling far to find one is out of the question as I only have access to public transport and some of them I have to travel other bridges to get to. I don't feel comfortable with this as every car I have gone to seen had problems that were not listed in the advert..0 -
Yeah... I can't bring myself to own a granny's car. All I know is has got to impress the ladies.0

It's Essex, what do you expect.0

That's way overpriced I'm afraid. I had a ten year old Fiesta not long ago and paid around £1000 for it. Six months later the gear box went and it would've cost £800 to repair. I scrapped it instead.0

I think people keep thinking this is some ordinary fiesta. It's the 1.6l engine with sportier looks.0 -
£3200???
This is why I buy large cars..... I paid £3000 for a 2004 Vectra, 8 years ago!!! I don't care if it does a few less mpg or costs £200 a year to tax, at the end of the day i've saved some cash and got a nice big comfortable+reliable daily barge.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

The trouble with older low mileage stuff is that it may "look" nicer but may not be as mechanically sound as newer, higher mileage stuff on for the same price. Getting something that's done 30-50k less miles doesn't guarantee you get to bank those miles...0 -

If second hand I tend to buy at three years old but older than five that's shed money not top dollar...
PS The Fiesta we bought new was one of the sporty ones that suffered from occasional ECU problems but somehow the dealer could never find the issue as intermittent so sold it after a couple of years for £2k less than we paid for it brand new!
Anyway would I buy another Fiesta, nope and certainly not at the prices age/price you are looking at.
