😳😳 stapling curtains😳😳 never heard of it Beanie BUT we staple all sorts of things onto displays at school and the workmen stapled a screen up when they were knocking walls down here. So it depends how precious the plaster you’re stapling into is to you as it’ll leave marks and wreck it and whether you intend to open or close them or if they’re just lightweight and ornamental. It’s not something I would do but.....anything goes I suppose.....I’d think carefully first though.
Another lazy morning here. It snowed just enough to leave a thin lethal covering of snow overnight and I have no intention of going out in it. I’ve just refilled the frozen water for the birds and have had a couple of robins partaking. So plans today is to do a bit more sewing to the chair and hoover around. Dh sorted a lot out things upstairs yesterday but has gone in work today. It’s the last niggly bits to go now which I think is the hardest. Then it’s my craft/gks room to empty and get decorated. That’ll need a new carpet too as the old one has been in there over 30 years and isn’t coming up too well with the carpet cleaner anymore. And getting rid of the unwanted things is a challenge....they feel too good to go to the tip and the charity shops are closed.January spends - £587.582 -
Have you thought of giving away the things via a local FB group? Some local people have just done a 10 day declutter challenge, posting photos of their items. They seem to have had a fair bit of success judging by the comments. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure. I’ve got loads of decluttering to do but nowhere for it to go, I suppose I should take my own advice 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Just meh today. I’d got into a nice routine of going out for a walk every day but it’s very icy and I’m not going out in it as I don’t want to slip and mess my arm up. I know I’m probably being over cautious by I can’t do it.
The sun is shining through the windows and they look terrible- so mucky. Think I’ve just talked myself into a job 😂😂 Dh is in work today so the sorting upstairs has come to a standstill. Right I’m off to have a cuppa and then decide which jobs I’ll do.January spends - £587.581 -
Don’t put yourself at risk of falling ice is horrible we have really deep snow and still snowing heavy now just come back from a good walk but it was damned hard going cleaning windows is not one of my favourite jobs 😂1

No such thing as over cautious

6th NSD of February 👍 the I windows didn’t get cleaned but everywhere downstairs was polished and the floors cleaned, then I’d had enough. Did a bit more sewing of the chair. I’ve nearly finished all the sides now 😃
I’ve got an appointment at physio tomorrow. My appointment has come through for occupational health in a couple of weeks time. I’ll be glad when it’s over.January spends - £587.582 -
Sounds like you got a fair bit done 👍 Hope the physio goes well tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
