I’ve had a bit of a funny old day. I couldn’t settle to anything....think I’m going soft in my old age and missing dh as he was back at work😂😂
Anyway I phoned a cousin I used to be very close with when I was younger....she’s a lot older than me, I’m closer in age to her children. I bumped into her last year and we said we’d stay in touch. An hour later....I had to make my excuses as we could have easily been on another hour. It was actually lovely to talk about my mum as there aren’t a lot of people in my life that remember her. Her anniversary was last week- 44 years ago since she died.  I did have a Baileys in her honour. I also phoned somebody I used to work with who has moved to Cornwall.....another hour 😳 ahh well. I wasn’t doing much else 😏

It was - she asked me a few questions. I could hardly hear her as it was an atrocious line and she had a very strong accent, along with my hearing loss - not a good combination 😳
The outcome is she will recommend I’m not fit for work and will review in about 6 weeks.

Not much to report. Don’t like the idea of lockdown but I know it’s needed......so has to be done 😏
The only spends today is my slimming world countdown. This will be the last one I ever buy. Whatever I am at the beginning of April will be my goal weight and I plan to stay in target so won’t need to pay. I enjoy going to the groups and will go again when they get back and like the website for the recipes. But this time that’s it.....and I mean it 😂🤔🤔

So  to I need to take the decorations down. I’m not looking forward to doing that as they have brightened up my world....especially those in the garden. I’m still incredibly sad the grandchildren’s presents are under the tree. Blooming COVID 😡😡 I’d visualised having a lovely time together around Easter but I can’t even see that now 😢
I suppose like a lot of the population I’m feeling a bit bleugh today.
Right big girls knickers on and time to tackle the job in hand. I need to go shopping too as I’m running low on a lot of things.
Sw wise.....so far so good 👍

Nearly finished taking the decks down. I can’t dismantle some bits of the tree as it needs pulling hard and I just haven’t got strength. Just having a break as I’m so tired 🙄 So I’ve put it in the utility room out of the way until dh comes home.  That utility room is so handy 😄😄
I need to go shopping yet too. Don’t think I’m going to have the energy. So might dive in the home made freezer meals and make do until tomorrow when dh is off an he can help me.
I’m sitting here with outside lights still on....it’s technically still Christmas as it’s still the 6th 😂😂😂🎄inside actually looks ok without the decorations as I didn’t put many out this year. I need to decide what to put on the wall in the dining room next to the big unit. I have a piece of metal artwork that used to go in the middle of that big wall. I’m hoping it’ll look ok to the side. We didn’t have time to put it up before Christmas and the tree filled that space. We also need a swivel chair bringing down to go in that area.
I nearly slipped with SW - I found a handful of liquorice all sorts in my hand and they just jumped into my mouth...then the same happened with some mini cheddars. I counted them though and put them in the cupboard out of sight 👍👍So all is not lost 👍👍
