    Afternoon all.

Hope you managed to get DS to his appointment, pigpen.
Have been sending posivibes to LW all day - hope you are OK after the Spanish Inquisition.

    Today I have
    - made 2 phonecalls
    - been to SW and decluttered absolutely nothing, despite being totally on plan all week
    - finished yesterday's housework, with DH wielding the Dy$0n.
    - cooked and ate soup
    - sent DH to U3A craft group (he does cross stitch)
    - went to my friends and ate scone, jam and cream (refer back to note about SW above)
    - emptied all bins (again!)

    Plans for this evening:
    - cook and eat tea
    - DH to model railway club
    - finish preparation for course tomorrow
    - start Gift Aid claim for charity
    - watch some TV or read

Must go and chop some veg...

Some progress with flying - now involving shopping for a new fridge shelf as well (cleaning is dangerous! Glass everywhere)

Made myself quick rice pudding as a treat for dessert. Can't wait. Will do the cupboards I planned yesterday first.

Waiting to hear from LW and pigpen. Those of you who know Mrs LurcherWalker Docky went along in spirit to bite legs which I'm sure will have helped.

Just popped in to wish Lynne a very belated birthday (kept forgetting to post, sorry :embarasse) and to see how things went with LW's horrid interview. Was thinking about it on and off all day. If you're reading this, big hugs from the Dizzy House xxx

Well done Narc0lepsy on the tax return. I'm back needing to fill one in at the end of this financial year...boo...I thought those days were long gone, but a couple of small business ventures mean I'm self-employed (sort of) again.

Salivating at the mention of scones, jam and cream Ionafan...one of my favourite indulgences. Scones now on the baking list for tomorrow - question is...saltana or plain?

Being a dog owner myself, I agree that it is very annoying when other people's pooches are badly behaved. Hope you are feeling better soon Mumof2 and Whizz is OK too. I had a very big dog once, who was bitten three times by a dreadful greyhound (separate occasions) and when he finally retaliated and bit back, the greyhound's owner was dreadfully upset, claiming her dog was only playing! Oh yes? Why did my dog have a torn ear then? Trouble was, greyhounds have tissue paper for skin and my monster of a Ridgeback drew blood and I had to foot a vet's bill and endure a lecture from the dog warden about the incident. A month or so later, there were posters dotted around about this woman and her dog, so it looks like I wasn't the only unlucky person. Funny thing was, we never saw her again...

Oops, sorry, off on a ramble. Flying? Nada today except the basics. Must try harder tomz

He did actually admit he gets anxious and upset going out which is a step forward. We have an appointment heading our way regarding meds for him..

I excelled myself today.. I wiped some worktop.. then bossed OH to do another bit .. then I put the WM x2 and the DW and.. the TD on.. the kitchen is still gross, but less gross!

Now I am going to knit a cardy.

Doesn't look like much but cleaning under the sofa was a total nightmare and took ages, there was so much carp under there it was unbelievable, including three socks, a knife, a spoon, some pens, tinsel, hairbrush, a jammy dodger, dog bone, lots of dust and billions of other tiny things like Lego mens arms etc. I wouldn't mind but it wasn't that long ago I last did it.

Hoping LW OK, and glad you got there piggers .

mumof2 hugs, hope you and doggy OK x
