I signed up with life mobile about 3 mths ago , via uswitch it was £6 per mth (EE) 1500 mins , unlimited txt and 1 g data on a monthly contract , set my limit to £1 ,(payable calls) have been informed that this IS the limit , no catching up by them , its stopped IMEDIATLY , but you can continue with free minutes , the say no to 0870 website comes in handy , the only one that's worth thee extra is the 111 number (police) @ 15p time unlimited

If you have spare inclusive minutes no need to ring 101 and pay 15p a call to call police.Just call the alternative geographical number where one is available.

    See: https://www.police.uk/contact/

Out of curiosity, with all these impressive packages what is the coverage like with the provided you end up with, presumably piggy backing. It's not essential to me to have the best coverage but it's something I've always tried to do and that is sticking with the bigger providers like Vodafone and EE.

However, it's clear that people are happy with the network coverage they do get with other providers and much cheaper contracts.

In many cases, organisations have changed to new 03 numbers. Check their official website first for the current numbers. Where 084 or 087 numbers are shown, especially on third-party websites, treat the information as being outdated. Likewise, letterheads, email signatures, receipts, etc, may still promote old numbers.

The police non-emergency number is 101. The 111 service is NHS, and only available in England and Scotland. Wales still uses premium rate 0845 46 47.

Good tip. As of 24 March 2014, every area of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) has access to the 101 number. Every police force is required to advertise an 01, 02, 03 or 080 number alongside 101. They are listed on the above website or can be found by searching for '101' on the sayNOto0870 website.

101 is not available in Jersey, Guernsey or Isle of Man. They use standard 01534, 01481 and 01624 geographic numbers.

My mum is with vodafone who have very recently brought 4G to the area. 3G was always really poor!

Anyway, on 3G, via Vodafone directly, my mum gets 5.5mbps
I'm on the £5.50 deal with TT and get 0.3mbps on 3G.

Really thought it would have been the same
Currently in a Protected Trust Deed - 23 payments until DEBT FREE - February 2027
