Today I bought Thai Sweet Chilli lentil curls from Lidl. OK, and nicely crunchy, but the flavour is very mild and a bit unimpressive. (BTW: Yes, I know that sweet chilli isn't hot - but usually there's a bit more flavour there.)

I've tried both the Aldi & Lidl Lentil Curls in the Sour Cream & Chive flavour, and the Aldi ones have a much stronger flavour than the Lidl ones, so perhaps the Sweet Chilli will be the same?

Personally, I think the more muted flavour from the Lidl version is quite nice...

For those on Slimming World, you may had Benefit Light bars. The new packaging comes with one less and can't be used as your Healthy Extra B choice anymore

I'm sure I tried this a while ago, definitely had Lidl's more than once - however I always go back to ASDA for theirs - currently 57p for 500g

Pick the right pack that's not a smoked selection and as lean as you can find and you can't go wrong. Time and time again I get a pack that is over 50% sliced/rashers, however, once cooked and in a butty it doesn't matter if it isn't.

Sorry Aldi but if your Italian expert believes you put parmesan on a seafood linguine you need to find another expert.

How flavoursome was it? I thought I tried that one before and it was almost tasteless. Does it have milk in the ingredients?

Ditto...but I also add a bit of five spice to make it more interesting! Nothing is as good as my own HM soup, however much I try to pimp it up.
