I was on my way to the till so didn't really look but did spot quite large jars of garlic and ginger as well as chickpeas and what looked like baklava. I already had the Lidl Batts version of Lazy Garlic in my trolley.
Thanks for that. I've not needed any for some time as I stocked up with Epicure when it was on offer in Aldi some time ago but soon to run out.
I've tried the jars of whole cloves before. They're OK crushed but Lazy Garlic is better IMO and I still buy fresh for roasting.0 -

In my opinion, the Lidl chocolate coated puffed rice biscuits/things are nice. They do have a lot of chocolate (60% by weight I think), so they aren't a diet item.0

I love the Aldi serum.
Yes, i wouldnt have recommended it otherwise. I gave up on Liz Earle too down to the cost.

My experience has been the other way with Aldi, there's not much I don't like, I'm hoping that they don't remove more favourites from the shelves though. Aldi have a habit of doing that. I know lines are limited as it's a discounter, but it's still frustrating at times.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... The ALDI toast pockets are fab.I just put some cheesen n onion in, bunged it in the toaster, n voila"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I use the Caviar day cream and it's excellent. It's every bit as good as the Benefit one that costs 3 times as much. I used to use the ordinary day cream but they must have changed the recipe as it started to make my eyes water.

Is it just my Lidl or am I losing my favourite.
I am diabetic and I try so hard to watch what I eat. For the past couple of years I have been enjoying their Greek Yogurt (full fat as it has less sugar than low fat). I used to get their big tubs 1kg (brilliant for the week), now its 500g tubs (ok) but I only sometimes find 1 in every 20 pots. They do have wee pots (125g approx.) but I can't put my fruit in them for taking to work. Usually put the yogurt in another container with fruit. The smaller pots I don't scrape it out as well.
Any advice?0
