That must have been the red one that I didn't look at very closely.
That's a hefty price increase, though.0 -

I think that the other new flavours were mango (and something, possibly coconut/pineapple?), apple and elderflower and pomegranate.
The cranberry tasted the same to me with my (as my grandfather always put it) uncouth palette!
The apple and elderflower, as I mentioned in another thread tastes like the Aldi juice that they used to carry (or perhaps it was sainsburys!). I suspect that it comes from the same supplier.0 -
Yes, I can confirm in the range:-
- Pineapple, Coconut & Line with no added sugar
- Apple & Elderflower with no added sugar
- Pomegranate
Personally, I have yet to see Cranberry/Cranberry Light in the new packaging.
I have now tried the Pineapple, Coconut & Lime and can confirm its deliciousness (to my equally uncouth pallette). The balance of the flavours is pretty perfect to my tastes, and the lime cuts through what might otherwise be too sweet very effectively. Also, the "drink" nature of the product makes it less pulpy than a product based on pineapple juice would normally be. Best drunk ice cold, I would have thought.
The product has all green nutrition traffic lights, except for orange for sugars (which is reasonable for a fruit-based product). It contains the bulk sweetener Sucralose - there is a slight after-taste and I wonder whether this is the reason?0 -
Any one notice a in change in aldi beef gravy granules.
They seem to be smaller in size and just did not seem to make very good gravy. Might have been me as I rubbish at even making instant gravy.

I took a casual look around Morrisons today, having a £5 voucher to spend. I really, really struggled to find anything in the store that was cheaper or better value than the A&L equivalents.
In short, the answer to "what is a good buy in Aldi or Lidl" is... almost everything.0 -

Aldi focaccia - tried it today. Big disappointment. Little more than expensive rolls with a smear of coating.0
