Does the skin crisp in the bag, though?

Yes just open the bag for the last 15 mins of cooking.

Can someone remind me please what Aldi's policy is on returning part used goods if you're not satisfied with them?

I really can't get on with the new Lacura face cream with Argan oil. Even using the tiniest smidgeon makes my face feel slimy and oily not long after applying it and forget trying to wear any make up on top of it.

Any idea what this weekends offers at Lidl are? The online leaflet is for 9th-15th March.

I wish they would have an explicit link on the website, I find it a complete waste of time to navigate.

They do . its in the "online leaflets" in the top right hand corner of the home page - alongside "store finder","newsletter" & "Social"

From this link they will always have at least 2 weeks of leaflets ( as long as you have a home store selected )

Its too much of a faff to go through the online leaflets that could be solved by a basic adjustment to the webpages. Thankfully they are now featuring prominently on the weekly alerts.

I was v pleasantly surprised by the Aldi plums on offer for the previous fortnight. They actually ripened, and were delicious at 5p each.

Take it back with your receipt, if you have it, within 60 days. There is a no quibble policy with unsatisfactory goods.
I've not had to do this very often, once only I think, but when I did it went through without argument.

Today I was able to get to a Lidl - I last went in one about 4 years ago, I think, before our Aldi opened. There isn't one that is easy for me to get to, but I've joined a shopper's group that has a regular minibus.

Well, they have upgraded, haven't they? A lovely in store bakery, an unbelievable amount of fresh fruit and veg and some smashing reductions on special offers.
There were a number of things that Lidl stock as standard that Aldi only stock as specials or not at all -and one vice versa. I'm sure there are others. . To be fair their store is larger than my Aldi.

Rollmops.. Salamis .. Lidl had them in abundance. Ready to use chopped chillis and chopped garlic, get in! I use these a lot.

What they didn't have - surprisingly - was Danish bread, though a very acceptable 400g seeded loaf was a decent substitute.

The Towergate digestive biscuits from Lidl have changed :(
They are now bigger in size and not as tasty.

The trouble is I don't think I still have the receipt as it was ordered online.

Aldi should have a record of your purchase; you could try taking it back to your nearest store and explaining.
