The op stated they called the firebrigades none emergency number. All firebrigades in the country offer free fire provention inspections on request, some will even supply/fit smoke alarms for you for nothing. All this because they beleave its better (and proberlly cheaper) to send 1 man round in a car to provent a possiable fire (even if it takes 1000 inspections before they actually provent as fire) then to send 8 men in a truck to drag a smoaking corpse out of a house. No lives would have been put at risk due to the inspection, in the event of an emergency call requireing the officers attendance he would have left the inspection immediatly.

You obviously haven't read the OP's post correctly - they waited TWO DAYS to call out the Fre Service - they thought their house was in danger, their terrified children were at risk - good grief!

I read it that they contacted the fire service the next evening.


And if you must comment on spelling at least make sure there are no mistakes in your own post!
