Would you recommend any of these? Do you use any of them?
I use Clearscore and Noddle. They're free, so why not?
I've had a look at my Experian report a few times but, in my case, it doesn't contain anything the other two don't.
If you have a particular concern it would probably be a good idea to look at your report from all three Credit Reference Agencies.0 -

Why is the Call Credit report not free? I realize there is probably a good reason for this. However, I do not know this reason.0 -
They sell details of people absconding from debts to debt collectors.
Nobody offers anything free in life.
Often people who are hiding or who have moved go looking to see if they are in the clear and they grab their details and sell them on.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

My first thought is that the Experian credit report is more comprehensive, however I could be wrong.0 -

I have checked my Noddle credit rating and my Clearcorescore credit rating.
My Clearscore credit score is: 463 (out of 700). It states that my long term debt is: £94,969 and my short term debt is: £1,365. It states that I have an above average credit rating for my area and the UK as a whole.
My Noddle credit rating is 2/5, which seems to be poor. If I drill down into my report it states that I have long term debt and short term debt as stated above.
I am planning to pay of my credit card in an attempt to improve my credit report. However there are a few more variables:
1) I have opened four new current accounts since November.
2) I have a mortgage (since July 2014)
Before I took out the mortgage my Experian credit rating was almost 999. Is the fall in credit score likely to be because:
1) The current accounts (no overdrafts)
2) The mortgage
3) The credit card debt0 -
Any change to your levels of debt / borrowing can have an instant effect on your "score" which in itself is pretty irrelevant. The opening of new accounts affected my score, possibly because searches were carried out, but it recovered pretty quickly. If that credit card is the only one you have then running it close to the limit, for whatever reason, can have a detrimental effect on the number and possibly the way other lenders view your handling of credit. I have several cards with a total limit in excess of my income but still get offered more and have a healthy score. One of the cards is kept near its limit due to stoozing but the others are never above 25% meaning my overall utilisation is low. All this of course is only relevant if you want to borrow more.0

Ok so I have been working on uprating my credit score for some time. I've never had a bad debt or ivas bancrupcy or anything rough. For all intents I have a squeeky clean credit history. A little high on the credit card v amount of credit but I am working on getting get this down.
So Experian that I am addicted to has me listed as 999 points with 20k outstanding on 65k of available credit card debt. As said earlier I pay this at about 2 to 4k a month so it's coming down nicely. That's the only negative. My house comes out at just under half a million with 100 outstanding and I have been in it for 5 years plus. Earnings are normally over 150k net but have dipped on occasion to 50k for short periods.
So why when I check on Noodle does it list me as a Fair credit rating with 3/5
Bemusing at least?0 -
