Just catching up after a few days away - you have been busy! Glad you're getting on well with SW - my husband and I also follow it although we don't attend the classes. I really enjoy most of what I eat and never really feel hungry :)

SW is excellent as long as you don't get suckered into the processed junk. I ate a lot of fruit and veg and protein and saved all of my naughty points for wine. Worked really well for me.

Sounds like a busy but productive couple of days, and hurrah for the exit of 'it'll do' things.

A team of people on here have kept me going and I will be forever grateful to them. There were people in the first year who came and went but left their mark (like Tink, Orange Ena and Muffintop) and people who came later (JoJo, Parsniphead, Redo, Cumbria Lass, and Moneyonmymind, for example) who were there to encourage me and guide me. Some were there from the beginning to the end (Rosa, Beanielou, In Need of Direction, for example) Sometimes people commented at just the time I needed it, Islandmaid, Fortune Smiles and Purplemum come to mind. EVERYONE played such an important part in getting me here and I salute you. :A

I am now debt free and mortgage free and the next stage of my life plan can begin.

    Thank you all :A
I have not read the whole thread, but that is very nice. Congratulations

  • You've made me feel like a proud parent. You are an absolute inspiration. Buy the cashmere and if you ever feel down, wrap yourself in it and remember how good getting debt free felt.

Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah, so pleased for you _party__party__party__

What I have always liked about your diary is that you ensured you would get there through sheer grit, determination and hard work, and here you are with it done. I'm all for people being lucky, but we shouldn't rely on that, and here you are - a living example of what one person can do if they really try.

    Smiling now :)
