£100 for switching - Open a Classic Plus account by 8 February 2016 and switch to us using the Current Account Switch Service before 4 March 2016. Pay in at least £500 into your new account within 28 days of the switch, transfer all active credits and debits which must include at least 2 Direct Debits as part of your switch.

To save previous TSB switchers the effort of checking T&Cs:You are not eligible for this offer if you have previously received an incentive or benefit for switching to TSB Bank plc using the Current Account Switch Service.

I created a TSB current account sometime in Dec 15. I also created a couple bank accounts purely for switching purposes. If I use one of these accounts to switch to TSB, then set up 2 direct debits - would I still get the incentive? Or do I have to set up the direct debits before the switch?0

Damn! My wife and I set up an account each over the weekend! Been putting it off for months - should have put it off a further week. Mind you, I don't think I have any accounts with DDs going spare anyway.0

I doubt you would get the incentive unless you comply with the T&Cs. Using an account that was opened before the offer began would automatically disqualify you. Perhaps you can close the account and start again?0 -

Same for you - can you close the accounts and start again?
Getting some extra DDs should be child's play.0 -

It only applies to new classic plus accounts opened from 11 Jan to 8 February.
Is the TSB account you refer to a classic plus - if it is then you won't be eligible unless you close that and open a new one. But there is a risk they might reject you if you do that and you lose access to what is arguably the best high interest current account in the market.
If its another TSB current account you have open then yes you would be eligible if you open a classic plus using the link by 8 Feb and complete the switch.
I note it says open not apply - so I wouldn't delay any application in case your application is referred or you need to go into a branch to provide ID.0 -
I'd like to open a TSB account, but I have no spare donor acounts to switch, I've recently just switched to Halifax, I might go in branch & see if Halifax will let me open another basic current account I could use to switch0
