Personally I would grant free movement to anyone from anywhere with a GDP per head more than about 10% less than the UKs and suggest other countries reciprocate. I'm not so sure. I've seen it all over Twitter earlier about how George Osborne "made" him do it, but it all seems to be from interpreting the German interview in the link earlier where it's clear that GO asked him to come over, but it doesn't say that he "made" him say that. I think something has been lost in translation between the German article and the City AM one (and others).
