Neither did Cameron mention WW3, and you know that too.
Implied = said in my book.
If he mentions destruction, Western and civilization in the same sentence, what interpretation would you put on that?If I don't reply to your post,
you're probably on my ignore list.0 -
Yes I particularly have a problem with inner London, close to the jobs, being more social homes than the national average
Thanks for the link. It shows
Southwark 43.5% social
Hackney 43.5%
Islington 41.8%
TowerHamlets 39.3%
Lambeth 36%
So why should these places have more than twice the national average of 17.4%? Why do you think inner London needs twice as many poor people displacing others?
You will get similar figures from other large UK cities, more social housing in inner Birmingham, Manchester, etc than in outer areas.
What's the composition of this social housing stock, how many flats, especially older flats. If you did manage to prise some out of the hands of the poor upon the popping of the clogs of the previous tenant, who is to say it would appeal to home owners? Or maybe you are meaning redevelopment of plots, so not selling individual homes as they become vacant. Especially considering house buyers don't like buying next to Section 106 properties in new developments.0 -
Here's the post-Brexit world in the eyes of many:
or even:
I'm in the Remain camp, but have to admit to finding some claims (on both sides, but particularly the Remain side) laughable. It's now at the 'boy who cried wolf' point!'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -

No wonder they've wheeled Gordon Brown out. From what I've read over the past few days, the Labour remain vote is collapsing ( if it was even there in the first place ).It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

The ICM numbers for Labour don't look terrible 58-38 for Remain, but not enough to offset the UKIP vote which is obviously solidly for Leave.0
