So bottom line is, regardless of what, it's' always Germany's fault.
So many excuses about it, but never introspect (as a country UK) of why.

I merely quote fact. Nothing else. You are the one twisting the reality to suit your own view.

We will if we get a good enough deal. We won't if we're stuck with WTO. Seems like a fair compromise, rather than blustering our way into WTO.

The left will engineer a poor deal by going in all soft and cowed and by implying the UK wont leave if a bad deal is offered.

TBH I quite look forward to Labour making an almighty mess of everything as this will consign the left to the dustbin once and for all.

Don't think for a second UKIP is a busted flush. If Corbyn wins, you are going to see a huge swing to UKIP - most Tories I know say they will drop the Tory party and opt for a proper party of the right, as Labours immigration chaos becomes a reality.

But why? Why should the UK have concessions that other member states don't have?
The easiest option would have been for the UK to amend current rules (i.e. contributory benefits) but preference is to be different.

Why?....because the UK leaves along with 10% of the EU budget if you don't. :)
There were concessions based on pragmatism that could've been made, they chose not to.

Starrey eyed Corbyinstas will be fuming when they realise their vote was entirely fuelled by emotional free money populist nonsense.
Free money populist nonsense is what your lot successfully used in the EU referendum. You don't like it when the boot is on the other foot, do you? :D
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

The vast daily EU club fee is real.

We can spend it better ourselves.

Cannot wait to see lefties screaming for justice when their mortgage payments and taxes rocket under Labour, and it slowly dawns that masses more immigration makes the housing shortage worse, don't say you weren't warned.

I still think May will win though.

The vast advantages of single market membership are real also.

If we use the EU referendum as a basis for the current GE, then okay, let's do it.

I was told that millions of Brits are actually racist for voting Leave. *Particularly* those poor, uneducated lot up in the old working class heartlands.

Now why should people with racist tendencies vote for Corbyn who loves migrants and refugees, and believes we need more immigration ?

Nobody is questioning Corbyn's support amongst the Islington massive..
  • It seems that two of Italy's major parties are campaigning to drop the Euro, in readiness for possible elections as soon as August:
The right-wing Northern League wants to pull Italy out of the euro zone, and the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement, which some opinion polls say is now the country's most popular party, wants to hold a referendum on the issue.

Small wonder EU politicos are so belligerent with the UK, with populism still rife in Italy and in Austria too as I have posted before.

    Agreed.

I took my mortgage out in 1990 when the base rate was about 14.5%. This was under a Tory government.

Highly likely it's not such a big problem.
