Here's the bottom line...
If staff pay less than members of the public then a concession has been applied.
The very fact that you can buy a season ticket (which will be cheaper than the daily rate) IS a concession.
But, you must also remember that 'guidelines' are 'should do' not 'must do'.
As I said earlier, speak to your union rep if you feel the site is non compliant.
Comparing NHS sites to private sites is not really relevant.:hello:0 -

In this specific case, ohreally may wish to revisit post #20 of that thread. It appears it sometimes does mean the same thing.0 -
I work at an nhs hospital. I don't work for the nhs - but i am part of the hospitals staff
It might be that the concession is extended to agency staff, but the guidance is not that specific, so ultimately, the hospital can do what they want and prioritise their own employed staff. If you are indeed agency, considering how much you are paid compared to your colleague, it would seem incredibly tight to expect the same financial advantages.0 -
Directly employed or not (as that status is a bit of a red herring) if the charge for the staff car park is less than for the public car park then a concession has been made and the guidance satisfied.:hello:0
