nothing happening with skin pep items on amz website. just pending for a week....0
-
I have applied to review Skin Pep products now available on AMZ Reviews and my applications are pending as I have applied to review other items I have already been accepted for. I don't see why they would now renege on allowing people to review the products as they lost their seller status and will be keen to repair this with positive reviews. We shall see.0

Same here: requests still pending.
I sent a message to Skin Pep as they had promised to offer me the opportunity to review their products - reminding them of their promise... Will update if/when I hear from them....0 -
The last I hear from them was on 19th Jan, after I emailed them chasing them. This was the response:
I am uploading all the skinpep products to the amz reviews web site right now. I will wait for 24 hours and after that we will start to send out the codes. So far we have 1500 review offers. It looks like there will actually be more then the 3000 orders we originally had. I expect something like 5000 review request based on the fact that we got 1000 in the first hour of putting just 3 products up. I will of course look out for you. Please make sure that you register using this amazon account name so that we can see your order history and reviews status. we plan to ship out the first amz reviewer orders on Thursday this week so should arrive the next day. Look lie we will have our work cut out for the next few weeks. Our current order rate has doubled in the past 2 weeks despite our seller ranking being killed by angry people who honestly though we would ship them £1000 worth of free products each. You will actually find that we give away £20 of free samples with every purchase anyway.
Many thanks
Dwain
I have removed all my requests from AMZ for this seller. I want nothing to do with them their products, or this scam :-(0 -
I received an email from Skin Pep this morning saying: 'Can you please send me your reviewer rank so I can search for you in AMZ.'
Will update if I get any further and let you know what happens.0 -
Quote from their most recent email to me today:
"On the AMZ website it did state that the campaign would end on the 28th. The procedure is to accept requests one day before the end of the campaign as we wanted to give enough time for people to request the products"
They clearly have no idea what they are doing and this directly contradicts their email to me on the 19th.
I have made it very clear to them that I am no longer interested in reviewing these products. Good luck to any who are still waiting and hoping for these products.0 -
Update: had another email from Skin Pep: 'I've just accepted you for a couple of products, you should receive the emails shortly.'
I went to my AMZ to retrieve the codes and went through the normal checkout process only to find one code only gave me 17 pence off one item and the other code didnt work at all. I emailed them back saying I think there has been an error with these codes and can they please let me know when they have amended the codes to free ones as they were when I applied to review the products. Waiting for a response...0 -
Had a reply from Skin Pep: 'I wrote the products down that I accepted you for, Eye Lift was one but the other should have been Collagen Renew Day Cream 30ml.Sorry for this mishap with the codes, this is my first experience using this system, let me check and come back to you. Please accept my sincere apologies for this inconvenience.'
Sounds like they're struggling with using AMZ Reviews from their side. But on the plus side it's a friendly apologetic email offering to sort out the problem so I am hopeful.
Will update further...!0 -
Another email from Skin Pep: 'I can't see why these codes are having issues as they are not due to expire until 23:59 tonight. I have had to generate new codes for these products; they take up to 4 hours to activate. What I'll do is send you the codes direct through here in a new message when they are finally active. Hope this is OK with you?
I can only apologise for your experience with us and our first experience with AMZ Reviews; seems as though we jumped in at the deep end. We are slowly but surely getting our head around these teething problems, so I can assure you, your next experience will be a lot smoother.'
We will see if the new codes they want to send me direct through email in 4 hours work....
There does seem to be some general misunderstanding in communications with Skin Pep: for instance the expiry of the codes has nothing to do with them having been generated for the wrong amounts or just not generated correctly at all. At this stage it really seems they're not sure what they're doing...0
