And for the smart !!!!!! and their replies I now have a drivers licence three weeks later, however the digital tachograph card remains missing and the DVLA have admitted error.

People whom you insult after they try to help you, will not be well-disposed to help you again.

I wish this website had been available to me some years ago, when (1) DVLA lost my replacement licence fee and (2) the DLA in Blackpool, sent my payments as a payment book, to a P.O. where I had not lived for 2 years. I had never had a Payments Book: it was paid into my bank from day One! I had to resort to writing to the DWP Minister, who took 7 months to get down the chain and sort it out. All down to the P.O. in my old village, who had (a) known me for years and(b) neglected to send the book back to DVLA.

Government organisations are infamous for losing documents, and the staff never seem to care about the effect upon the people they are supposedly serving.
