    Good morning all.

I was hoping David Bowie might do a live show, had heard rumours :( He is an Icon of my age.

As for the conversation on breast feeding, I fed both mine, could not work out why people would buy milk powder and bottles and faff around when there was a ready supply on tap. Do have a funny story though, one of those I heard, there was one lady had been sterilising her nipples and wondered why they had ended up sore, she had been soaking them in Milton, dread to think how she managed that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Milton :eek: omg :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Back from my post school run mooch around Ts. Not much to report. Still no mags out in my store. There were quite a lot of RTC items in the haircare and skincare aisle. Many hair dyes, shampoos and conditioners RTC but only half price which they'd often be on offer. Did spot some Bio Oil RTC at £10.00 for 200ml which seems to be a bit better than elsewhere.

  • School run done, it's my Monday morning bit to help DD, so I get to her house for 06.45 and get the two little ones dressed and breakfasts made and deliver to school.

Went to T's for bread and milk and no mags yet but ours is always later than everywhere else. They have restocked the BE veg, but now have no fish ha ha. Choc coins now 25p but nothing much of interest though Hollands pies are half price if you like them.

Sad news re David Bowie - these icons of my era seem to be passing on at a relatively young age - he was only 69.

Loosing the iPad charger is a major crisis - the main thing is have you taken it out of the house or has a visitor borrowed it?

Firstly prayers to St Anthony, patron saint of lost things

Then put a message on your local streetlife group - maybe someone can lend you a charger while you scour the house? Maybe ask on Freecycle as well

Our entire life now depends on chargers

    Morning

Not wanting to venture downstairs yet this morning. DD2 has essay to be in today and I get just as stressed about the deadline as her. :o

My stomach is already churning but that could be the profiterole I had to spit out last night as the cream inside was well and truly sour. You know the ones I defrosted to get the meal deal in on Thursday and could only leave them on the porch floor. :o So no surprise really. :rotfl:

Think out of the 27 I got out (3 we ate to make sure they were ok to freeze ;)) we are composting around 10. Now if I had that card then would I have been tempted by the whoopsie. :o

A nasty smell it taking over our fridge, must have started the week I had the dreaded lurge and could not smell much

I've emptied and wiped down various shelves and removed anything suspect but still the smell lingers so tommorow everything has to come out so I can find the offending article

I have a new tub of bicarbonate open to absorb the smell but it does not do the job

    - does anyone one else have any home spun remedies for fridge beautifying?
I've got lemons and elbow grease
No selling the fridge and starting again is not an option

Well I got everything out and still could not find what was smelling and then in the door of the fridge I found a bowl with egg wash in - must have been from the Christmas Eve cheese pesto straw making

I know full well which idiot moved the bowl from obvious and plain sight shelf onto an obscure door shelf and I know he will emphatically deny it and also deny his involvement in the ugly socks and underwear on the radiator being anything to do with him and the coal all over the yard - in fact I will write down in my notebook now what things he insists he did not do and who he will blame - the visitor now on the other side of the planet ...

I am having an abandoned kinder egg, a raspberry ruffle and 2 chocolate Florentines for my breakfast - the most fascinating items found while emptying the fridge this morning :)

And then I will weigh myself although I put no weight on after 2 weeks away so I don't expect any nasty shocks :)
