    Morning

Not wanting to venture downstairs yet this morning. DD2 has essay to be in today and I get just as stressed about the deadline as her. :o

My stomach is already churning but that could be the profiterole I had to spit out last night as the cream inside was well and truly sour. You know the ones I defrosted to get the meal deal in on Thursday and could only leave them on the porch floor. :o So no surprise really. :rotfl:

Think out of the 27 I got out (3 we ate to make sure they were ok to freeze ;)) we are composting around 10. Now if I had that card then would I have been tempted by the whoopsie. :o

The sick churning feeling of your off springs deadlines and unfinished assignments I know it well - you just wish you could do it for them but even some of the essay writing they had to complete in year 7 was beyond me.

Eldest used to do all nighters in the uni library to get things finished and fortunately for her at the time she was 3 hours away and beyond nagging range ...

That's just it mhoc I'm used to her being nearly four hours away with no idea when deadlines were approaching for her first four years at uni.

I can be of no help I have no idea about medical ethics and law. And anyway it has to be her work. Doing this Masters long distance it is lovely having her home but times like this I turn into a nervous wreck.

Well I got everything out and still could not find what was smelling and then in the door of the fridge I found a bowl with egg wash in - must have been from the Christmas Eve cheese pesto straw making

I know full well which idiot moved the bowl from obvious and plain sight shelf onto an obscure door shelf and I know he will emphatically deny it and also deny his involvement in the ugly socks and underwear on the radiator being anything to do with him and the coal all over the yard - in fact I will write down in my notebook now what things he insists he did not do and who he will blame - the visitor now on the other side of the planet ...

I am having an abandoned kinder egg, a raspberry ruffle and 2 chocolate Florentines for my breakfast - the most fascinating items found while emptying the fridge this morning :)

And then I will weigh myself although I put no weight on after 2 weeks away so I don't expect any nasty shocks :)

Are you sure that kinder egg was abandoned? :rotfl:

Glad you got to the bottom of the smell. :) Can almost catch it here nearly 3 week old raw egg! :rotfl:

Good morning everyone. Such a shock to learn of David Bowie's passing he was of my era :A Was giving DD2's GF a lift to pick up her car from the station in Crewe when we heard the news on the radio. Who's that she said  different era I know (she's 23) but I am pretty sure my own DDs will know who he is.
Sending hugs to all the poorlies and anyone else who wants one:grouphug: Oh and have a good holiday PD x

Yesterday in Tesco, this surf had a shelf price of £5 reduced to £4. Was charged £5, got £2 back DTD. This compares against Morrisons at £2.47 on brand guarantee.

Also in Asda on Saturday, age 9-10 black opaque tights - has a tag of £4 on the tights, was charged £5, so £1 back and £2 gift card.

    Hope this helps someone :)

    Good morning all....

His music will live on...legend....my first album was a Bowie...and he's one of a select few that have made it to a download and is still regularly listened to and enjoyed many years later.

I'm suffering today with a really sore back...no apparent reason but I've had it all weekend and its just dragging me down...ive had it intermittently since before christmas but it seems to be getting worse and I'm a terrible wuss when it comes to going to the doctor in case they diagnose something worse than it is...I always seem to overthink illness even though I dont really get ill often

I need to shop but cant get motivated...but will need to go before it rains.

Snap ...sad to read you dad is ill...its been a tough few months for him and you...but heres hoping he will be home soon.

and sad to read of the demise of Ted the cat...always painful to lose a cherished pet.
MHOC...welcome back after your holiday...Hope its refreshed you and set you on an even keel for the new year

    FC ...Continued love to you...

I also still have one suitcase to open and wash the contents of after our christmas and new year jolly...slowly getting there!

Perhaps I should put on my red shoes and dance the blues....

Onwards and upwards into the new week.
