There I was, with the branded lollies that are around my old £1 guide price, saying that I only had one now and the rest may all have gone and... I now have ten different ones!:rotfl::rotfl: (Three of them are on the 'buy in M' part of the list;) - that 'wink' is not to say you must buy them btw, that's just where they go due to not being stocked in A - although I doubt any of them will work on the APG at all now tbh due to them being unlikely to visit the store(s) in which they are stocked. Then again, they are unlikely to visit any store that you pick at random.)
So, it was simply the case that, if I had visited another store - one that isn't realistic for me to visit every week - I would have had a completely different picture! It just goes to show that, even with my alternate six stores (I don't do six each check, which is what the APG uses and they use stores in Scotland too, but rather usually up to three and sometimes change one or more of those so end up checking about six more regularly over time), I only picked up one of the lollies for the last two months or so and missed all the rest! So, certainly, it would be possible for the APG collectors to use six stores and miss the whole lot, just like the trouble I had with them now being completely absent from most of my stores! Had they gone to different stores, they could have picked some - or even maybe most - of them up, but then missed other stuff that's only available in the other M stores.
I have found further stores in which the lollies are completely absent (and I mean not even any evidence of any SELs pointing to their existence). They are not in most of the stores I have visited - and, by that, that means the stores have nothing where the APG (or TBG) collectors could ever pick them up if they were in that store. They may, purely by chance and quite unlikely, be in the 'right' store - I think if people keep an eye out (as usual) on wombles to see if any of the items I have marked unlikely actually turn out to compare, that will be very useful!:D Or if, as seems more likely, you report them as returning N/A:(. (That's useful too, of sorts, even if not the information we want to know!)
You'd think that "M is M" and, while they may be some items stocked only at much larger stores, that otherwise you'd have everything in your M store and they wouldn't be a load of other completely different items available elsewhere. But, you'd be wrong... even if you pick a set of 3 or 6 stores, there will be quite a number of items that are not stocked in any of them (many items are common to most stores but these few are not... maybe it's not few as now turning into an additional page from each new set of five stores). I've done my 24th store and found at least 15 items (probably more) that were in none of the previous 23 stores, including most of those lollies - and the Cadbury's treatsize! It's by no means the biggest store I've been in - Winsford store was bigger (probably the biggest I've seen) and yet stocks none of those items and does not even have any SELs for them.
The biggest I understand is Leamington Spa - but I'm nowhere near there and, tbh, don't think I'd ever get there. Even if I did, it's not the biggest stores that have all these 'missing' items (that turn up in M elsewhere!). It's every store that has some.
And Winsford does stock some items that aren't in the store where all the lollies were. So, if I'd been to the lollies store first, I'd still have found, later, different items from Winsford that I didn't have from the other store!0 -

I also saw some storage boxes on sainsburys that would be useful, but again needed to spend £30 on other bits, so I deleted and looked at something else, but I do need storage boxes
I know, I lost a nice pair of knee high socks for Teeny in my faffing about whether to order or not.
Thing is the girls are fed up with "Boots" gift sets so I am not intending to "do" the Boots Sale this year. Famous last words. :rotfl: Trouble is I can't stop myself from buying three of everything and they all like different things now so it is a waste.
Socks you can't go wrong with can you? :rotfl:0 -

Were you really expecting it to turn up on a Sunday, I don't ever remember getting a next day delivery on a Sunday from them, but of course you may have gone for named day delivery.
Fingers crossed for you DM.0 -

His mother is really bad and it's all she goes on about, my sis doesn't like Lacey Mae but she's caving just because she can't take the nagging anymore
How awful, I think the naming is worse than the birth, it took me a week to name the third one0 -
Better have a shower and some sort of sleep. Laters taters, play nice x'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0

Are these the really large ones Ellie?
Sorry...I'm just reading XL. Thanks
Not a huge saving 87p I think. A s have them 3 for £3 but don't know if those compare anywhere .0 -
Look at this - Sains vs Morries!
S does not match the prices of M. Good job for them:rotfl:.
Sains £3.50. Morrisons...
93p:D. If you're in the right store:doh::rotfl::rotfl:. Otherwise you will not find them!!:mad::p(:rotfl:) Not as good as the 43p for the other funsize, but, really, a lot cheaper than Sains!
Cadbury Heroes (20 per pack - 278g)
£3.50 £1.26 / 100g
£3.50
£3.50
---
And Waities are happy too:D - brandmatching T on the shelf which doesn't stock them on t.com so can keep its price at £3.50! Just check that T really doesn't stock them instore;);):D:rotfl::rotfl:. If they do, just try them on TBG (in Great Britain). I like testing these supermarkets, to see if they really will do what they promise and pricematch. Doesn't say any RTC on the shelf in M for me! If anyone does have an M with this product (or its SEL/offer label even if no product) in it and it does say "Reduced to clear", please can you let me know! TIA.
It will definitely be there for someone in M, straight off, on the shelf!
People generally, it seems to me, just have no idea of how much cheaper a competitor (in this case M in respect of S) can be! I think many people, wrongly as ever, assume that the prices in most supermarkets are very much similar. However, that is wrong: there are these striking disparities (as I see it).0 -
What I'll do tomorrow, there's no price collection anymore as the APG is now updated only once a week, is probably (:rotfl::rotfl:)see what's in some further stores - may be a bit different with price changes happening around me (which I won't be reflecting) - and, whilst I'm there I may check to see if the TBG items are still valid as they still collect on Mondays. This will not be the case for me every week (unless I keep going to new stores:rotfl:) as I will be taking Mondays off but this time it is mainly the meal deal items that I want to see. Not that the TBG collectors will pick them up - or that T hasn't done some changing to N/A - but to see if the M offers are still on.
Somehow I'm doing a price collection in my normal stores on Wednesday but with loads of items missing from all of them:rotfl::rotfl:.
Alright, I am still here for a few minutes, putting the final now few items from today onto the list, and then I'm off and I'll see you later!:):wave:0 -
Tassimo heads up for Costc0 members - £11.99 for 5x8 packs Cadburys, £17.99 for 5x8 packs Latte, £13.49 5x packs Americano.

Just catching up, FC you must have been at a low ebb for them to have kept you in hospital for days - you really must be so fed up of all the proddings and investigations - how long before you get the results of the whole body scan or is it just the start of just another set of tests?
Lots of cough, colds and chest infections doing the rounds over Christmas, virtually impossible to avoid catching something
Mhoc. Great to see you. I'd like to say I missed you but the truth is I've missed so much I hadn't noticed you were goneI've missed loads. I'm glad you got some time away from your demons and good for you for spotting what and when they appear. I think we all have times like this. Be it dates, circumstances, sights, smells....our brains are just a bunch of buttons waiting to be pressed.
I just got unlucky getting a cold when my immune system was already depleted. And the pesky bacteria entered my body somewhere and took over.
My whole body scan, I think, is more so my consultant can have a proper look at my whole spinal cord. We know the nasties are getting settled there and he wants to see where. it's also a way of him seeing where in my bones the plasma (nasties) cells are in my bone marrow. The biopsies can tell how much of them I've got but not what parts of my body they are targeting and settling in. So it's sort of pre-emptive I hope. Results take 2 weeks and I hope everyone will join me in hoping I hear nothing sooner. Slow news is good news!
I'm up because I'm itching and I'm blaming Ladyshopper. Her hairs have reached Lancashire and have contaminated the water. Luckily I'm not itching in an unladylike like place. I have taken an anti-histamine so at least she gives good advice when she afflicts us all:rotfl:
Wouldn't have thought of taking an antihistamine LS so thanks and you know I'm joking0
