Bit manic here at Parents house.

The clearing out of the sewing rooms :eek::eek::eek: not one but two :eek:
I forgot I used to use our old playroom in a stable block loft as a sewing room in the 80s & Mum has dumped fabric, curtains etc up there - along with our Ladybird books, art work etc

So Younger DS was up there hurling stuff down through the hatch - Mum & I were trying to bag up the fallen stuff.
Lots of things ruined by mice
So trips to dump done - hopefully the linens section does get sorted there as the curtains, fabrics etc aren't that bad if you cut out the mouse holes :o

But found some Laura Ashley treasure Pre cut pieces for LA patchwork quilts in all the lovely old prints, Mum even found the pattern to make them up.
So was hoping to lug some LA fabrics home in car but DS has bought a rabbit hutch at the dump .....

Well, making progress. Have just ordered a new mattress, ordered one from Tesco that we had tried elsewhere. That is the most vital part, the bed we can wait for until Next decide to make it a decent price.

Can confirm mince still working from a 10.30 shop, compared agains M and T

Just wanted to post a bit of a warning to check youve got the right pack - OH accidently picked up a pack of extra lean mince as one of the four packs this morning. It was same size and weight but was £4 - he didnt notice until I had a look at the receipt when he got back so only 2 out of the 4 packs compared at the glitch price

Strangely the £4 pack didnt show up on the APG at all :huh:

Hi Annie, sorry I don't know about that. I still have enough hand wash from a couple of years ago :eek:

Can anyone recommend a good powerful microwave they have and are happy with please. We only ever use a microwave for everything , don't bother with the oven. We bought a replacement from Tesco about 3 months ago and it's not very good .

We could cook a whole chicken in our old one in about 25 mins but this one is only a 900 and it takes well over an hour. The old one was 1000. And we could do with one with easy instructions too please
