Cadbury Mini eggs Carton(41.5g) unavailable in asda

    Indeed it really is:D:rotfl:.

So, their shopping was cheaper but just not by 10% (surprise surprise:D) but does that mean that they made good purchases as, after all, A is cheaper isn't it?

Er, no! Vs M was the best - but let's have a look at what they could have got better!

Expensive peanuts - 500g were £1 in M a few weeks ago!:rotfl: (I can't find them anymore - if there is a store in which one pack has got left at the back of the shelf and never bought, then that, at 500g, it's highly likely will still be £1!)

    1x KP Salted Peanuts (300G) £1.98 £1.99

They still like these small 300g packs at £1:eek::

    1x McVitie's Digestives Milk Chocolate (300G) £1.00 £1.00

500g were £1.00 in M a few months ago (I have mine - still BB April this year, so, still in date!) £1.14 for 500g now in T - would still, if that compared, work out cheaper by weight than the 300g packs though. And SP Milk Chocolate digestives - I'm positive myself that they are nearly identical! - are much cheaper (and still cheaper than the 500g even at their best price).

SP Rubber Gloves don't compare against M:(:
    1x ASDA Smartprice Rubber Gloves Medium (2PK) £0.46 N/A

Neither do they compare against S these days - they used to compare against 24p (until S increased its price to 30p:( then compared against that) - that was a glitch as S is actually a single pair of gloves, rather than a 2 pack of two pairs - but that has not worked ever since the system moved away from msm and they are now N/A against S:(. Vs T now for straight 10% off at best.

    Wrong Fairy WUL.

    2x Fairy Original Washing Up Liquid (500ML) £2.00 N/A

It would, hopefully, have worked out cheaper if they'd bought 2x 870ml against M even at current 2 for £3 'offer' (straight price offers are £1.33). Or if they'd bought some at 50p. Instead, they went for them at individual price of £1.40:eek: and then bought two of them in order to try to make a saving but in fact fail to do so!

    Wrong Cathedral cheese:p.

2x Cathedral City Mature Cheddar Twin Pack (700) £8.00 N/A

    Expensive oranges.

    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Medium Oranges (5PK) £1.00 £1.47

And I mean at A's price and not even opting into higher 10% cheaper than M price! 7 pack Oranges at Aldi are 59p.

My guide price used to be maximum £1 for a 300g bag, let alone 180g:

    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Unwashed Baby Spinach (180G):rotfl: £1.00 N/A

Grower's Selection Salad Tomatoes do not compare:(:

    2x ASDA Grower's Selection Salad Tomatoes (750G) £2.50 N/A

They may not see the BPBV Tomatoes (min. 750g) in M at £1 as comparable. So, buy in M! I took a risk on that and was wrong. Msm.co.uk has got the M product linked up, but then it can be more generous than the APG. And I thought, with the Apricots being "min. 320g" earlier, they might have compared the tomatoes (if they were N/A, as indeed they are, then the 25p cost would not be too great). So, they should have bought the "min. 750g" tomatoes in M at £1, as that would have cost them 50p less. Another overpayment therefore, despite being overall cheaper than everywhere!

Just back from my first free Weight Watchers meeting and cooking bacon sarnies - No not for me as I was a stone more than I expected!!!

So just a nice cuppa and a read up of all the WW stuff I have been given.

Oh Boy that bacon smells yum! This diet ain't going to an easy ride.

    Have a Good One! xx

You can still have bacon. A pack of bacon medallions is £2 for 10 rashers / medallions in Tesco, and it is 2 smartpoints for 4 medallions.

Weight Watchers pasta and spaghetti are currently 60p in Tesco.

That's because the kitchen towel has been £2 something in M all this week and the Persil offer ended in M last Sunday as well.
