I now have the urge to take a cup of hot milk and a cookie to bed. But I don't even like milk but I do like cookies. :D

    Goodnight everyone. :)

Quorn instore shop from just before 8pm. A v T

    1x Quorn Meat Free 6 Sausages (250G) £2.00 £1.66
1x Quorn Meat Free Tikka Sliced Fillets (140G) £2.65 £1.66
    2x Quorn Cottage Pie (300G)
    £4.50 N/A
    1x Quorn Best of British Sausages (240G) £2.50 £2.52
1x ASDA Chosen By You Rich Tea Biscuits (400G) £0.60 £0.40
    1x Quorn Meat Free Chicken Pieces (350G) £3.00 £1.66
Cottage pie n/a at T's, even when in their 3 for £5 offer , BUT it wasn't included in A's 2 for £4, my bad.
    Sausages bad choice too.

Others worked 2 for £4 multi.

It seems you got the wrong one:(. Quorn Cottage Pie in the offer at T is 500g, so they would have given you more as well:(. The 500g version is not stocked at A so the offer using that at T could not be compared to. A have the 300g version - it seems the only other place to stock that is M. Could be a glitch on that vs M - £2.25x2 vs Any 2 for £3 - can you confirm it is picking up the M price? TIA.

Unfortunately I can't blame the APG system for not picking up an item from t.com this time:mad:.

EDIT: I think the glitch vs M, if it is 2 for £4 on the Quorn in the first place - not done the glitch as we won't use 6 - so at least I've saved £3 there:rotfl: - works out at £1.10 each. For a 300g version. Which is actually more expensive (by weight) than buying the 500g version from T on their 3 for £5 offer. Glitches don't always mean a good price. Should have worked if you'd stuck to the other products, or used a different mix all of which T have online in their 3 for £5.

EDIT 2: No glitch vs M anyway. Quorn Cottage Pie in A is really £2.25 straight and not on 2 for £4.

If the sausages are on 2 for £4, they may have been a good choice if other fully comparable products had been bought so as to match 6 total items being bought vs T. The only reason they have failed and returned full price may be because the Cottage Pie is N/A so the sausages have missed the T mbuy. However, the sausages may still not necessarily have been a bad choice if they got the required 8 minimum number of different items to get at least some APG from the shop.

  • Well, I've just opened a box of T's fruit jellies bought during my post-Xmas raid on their choc/sweet aisle where everything scanned at much lower prices than the SELs.

And found they contain precisely 10 fruit jellies, all nested individually in a plastic tray.

Feel very sorry for those who paid full price...

    Nice cookies, PD. x
