I went to the Clinique counter and said to her that I was recommended to use some of their moisturiser but didn't want to spend stupid money without being sure it was going to be suitable, and did they have any samples I could try.
Yes of course, she says. She then gets the tester pot and scoops some out into a teeny tiny little pot
Very helpful but not quite what I was looking for :rotfl:

Reading about wills...
Just to say when a close relative died a couple of years ago, she had used a form from the Post Office, cost less than £1, it was acceptable for Probate, we had no problems whatsoever for a basic estate.

nice letter in the post.
youngest son went out to Hong Kong last July on a 6 month contract and his flight with Cathay Pacific was delayed by 24 hours.
I used the MSE template and wrote the compensation letter out but it was not until just after Christmas when he was back in the Uk briefly that we discussed it and the letter was sent off signed with a copy if his booking confirmation .
so today, nearly 4 weeks later we have had a reply and the compensation is the full $600 - 458 euros :j
not quite the full cost of the flights but a good proportion anyway. Obviously I paid for the flights (or at least it was some of the money my dad left me which I am not spending on myself only on the kids when they need the big ticket things)
but if his sister and her BF set a date for this year it will probably be me paying for the next set of flights again ...
Good win. You do know that compensation is only ever paid to the person that was delayed? As it is compensation for the inconvenience etc. Also in the same situation, I paid for a flight for DS2 Summer 2013 and easyjet have at last caved in. Only after we signed up for the NWNF solicitors, so he should get about £160.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
