So where are they getting this information from as I have £1.81 last Wednesday and £2.00 yesterday? We're told they are only doing one update per week now. Is this specifically the chicken version or Burrito one that I was referring to? I think just forget the M comp.:rotfl:

Perhaps they were too early in the day on Wednesday 13th and their Ms hadn't changed their SELs yet - maybe M was going to £1.81 for a weekend offer that the APG missed (since it only does its price collections at the other end of the week). I'm just still no closer to understanding this than I was before:rotfl:.

Maybe they are checking on Mondays and being tardy with the update so I am out of sync:(.

    I'm sorry this didn't work.

I now think this is what's happened. From my past experience, there is little change between the Monday and Wednesday in M although the occasional extra offers go on. So, I'm going to switch back to doing Monday (this fits in better for me tbh). I may also do Wednesday as I'm going to further stores but won't publish the changes from the Monday to the Wednesday. Then I may see if they're on Monday or Wednesday collection at some point in the future.

I'll update the information that I have from Wednesday for now (I didn't do a price collection check on Monday) - but just to be aware there may well be the odd items here and there that may catch people out as they may have had different prices on Monday. I think the loose broccoli will not have been £1 per kg. on Monday - that's even if one store was right about it now - or maybe it was £1 per kg. everywhere else and only that store has failed to change it to new price of £1.36/kg?:rotfl: I never know, with this situation, whether it's a case of one store showing a new price that others have yet to change their SELs to or whether the price is an old one that all the others have removed.

It was 5pm on the 18th. No apology needed, info was appreciated greatly, just stuck out a mile on the AvM expected...

14 items (13 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda Morrisons
    2x Cathedral City Mature Cheddar (350G) £6.00 £4.00
    1x ASDA Smartprice Wrapping Foil 290mm X 20 metres (20X290) £0.67 £0.67
1x Old El Paso Cheese Baked Enchilada Kit (663G) £2.50 £3.13
1x ASDA Tiger Fish Selection In Jelly Cat Tins (6X400) £2.50 £2.37
1x Regina Blitz Original XL Single Roll (1 ROLL) £2.35 £1.00
    1x Velvet White Toilet Tissue (9 ROLL) £3.75 £3.00
    1x Kleenex Mansize Compact Tissues (2X50S) £1.50 £1.50
1x Kleenex Balsam Mansize Tissues (EACH) £1.50 £1.50
1x Belvita Breakfast Biscuits Honey and Nuts (300G) £2.00 £1.00
1x ASDA Tie Handle Pedal Bin Liners (40PK) £1.20 £0.97
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Apricot Punnet (320G) £1.50 £1.00
1x Glorious! SkinnyLicious Limited Edition Soup Vietnamese Supergreen (600G) £1.00 £1.00
1x Old El Paso Original Smoky BBQ Fajita Kit (500G) £2.50 £3.13

At least the vast majority of it worked, and you did get the cheese glitch.

I notice the Apricots do compare after all - though I wonder if they would have picked up the 2 for £1.50 offer. From what I saw yesterday however - only one store out of 6 I checked showing the mbuy on the shelf at all - I think they are likely to return full price and it was a similar situation (though not as bad as yesterday) for me earlier in the last week, so I reckon they would probably get full price. It took me a day before I realised they were still 2 for £1.50 - several stores were just showing £1 (or showing "PRICED":p, when the packs themselves now, for me, just have £1 on them and don't have 2 for £1.50 on them anymore) and only when I had a couple showing 2 for £1.50 on the shelf did it prompt me to go and check them at the till.

I had to check them at the till, on two separate days:(, as it was unclear yesterday whether they were still 2 for £1.50 (that having to been checked, only at the till, a few days before).

However, the SELs are no guide - I had an offer label of crossed out £5.25 and £2.63 offer on the Lenor 76 fab. cond. yesterday in one store - after I'd seen £5.25 in the other first:mad: - are you moving it back to full price on the SEL but the offer is still on or has the offer really ended?!?:mad: - the Nestle desserts have been changed to show £2 full price in some stores over a week ago (even stores that had the offer showing in the first place) even though the offer has been continually on and still is and is showing in the vast majority of them - so sometimes, even when a store changes to show full price it doesn't mean the offer is over - but I scanned the Lenor in the store that said £2.63 and it scanned at £5.25:eek::rotfl:.

Asda Price Guarantee comparisons are based on prices correct as of date of delivery (online shoppers) or date of purchase (in store customers).
Where a product comparison price is N/A, either, a) the independent agencies that collect the price data have not found an equivalent product at the named competitor, based on the comparison criteria (see Terms & Conditions) ; or b) the product is part of a particular promotion which makes it difficult for a fair comparison to be made (see Terms & Conditions).
Comparisons are limited to a maximum of 10 items per product and 10Kg for items sold by weight.
All prices displayed in red are net of any multibuys savings or discounts. For example items that are £1.47 each which are part of a "2 for £2.50" promotion will be shown at £1.25 each where the customer buys the required quantity. They may therefore be a different price to that shown on your receipt or delivery note.
Any items of George clothing or Home and Leisure items are excluded from this comparison.
