Somehow lunch got missed, so off to remedy that, then a catch up. Had to do everything today as back on building site duty tomorrow.

You've beaten me, although it's not a competition:cool:. Your sprouts 40p and mine 49p. I suspect I was beaten on the paper plates yesterday - 10p for some, mine 30p. To be fair, I notice people post better prices that I get but also there were some more expensive (several pounds) items posted yesterday by others too and I have some several pounds items - such as an ironing board - from M prices but sometimes they are still good offers.

The sprouts - how much weight did you get for your 40p?

The weather - indeed, :(brrrrrr... it's started to rain, it's really cold, I've even had to put the hearing on during the daytime:eek::(.

Eye seems fine now thanks, nurse at hospital said to get optician to remove lens from glasses on the left side but they wouldn't do it so dh did it. Vision is a little better but as long as it has removed the possibility of pressure building up, I'm happy with that.

I go back to hospital on 11th Feb for check up and maybe a date for right eye to be done

Why wouldnt they do it? we went into the opticians at the hospital, as dh couldnt see a bloody thing without them on, and with the dressing couldnt get them on:o they did it for us:T
