    Good afternoon all.

Busy day - posted eBay parcel, Ts for bread and milk and daffodils, S for fuel (till spit says 8p off fuel wys £10 on Tu, very nice, especially as we need more schoolwear for DGKs) Boots for refund with no probs and looked at sale stuff but only rollwrap left and it's still £1, ELC ditto, M&S for Sparks card - got some food hall bargains - pyramid of profiteroles 40p, sprouts 40p, and some individual Xmas relation cards for 39p down from 3.95 each.

Absolutely threw it down with freezing rain.

Then to c/shop with donations so another 18 items gone, got a few DVDs to watch and redonate afterwards, and have also given cash to charity today.

Somehow lunch got missed, so off to remedy that, then a catch up. Had to do everything today as back on building site duty tomorrow.

Stay warm and dry, it's horrible out there. x
Goodness, where are you? It's quite pleasant here - temperature above freezing, dry and reasonably bright.

Afternoon all, grim and cold outside

Shopotize is doing my tree in this afternoon.
On OHs app he is on the 3rd upload of a receipt, three times it's got to 100% and no further, not to the processing and withdrawal stage.

OH is now in charge of taking photos.

On my phone on my app I am my 4th fail and re snap - previously it was up to 100% and then it dropped back to about 70% and then climbed again before failing altogether

I expect everyone else has uploaded with no issues

Next I am going to try ignoring it and coming back later and re doing but I have a bad feeling about this

I'm having problems with st too. Worked fine yesterday quick to upload and withdraw but keeps saying issues today and looks like I've lost a pack of biscuits in one account not showing in offers or activity!

AJ hope your eye is ok ?

Hi bubbs, how are you doing? Is life in TL still ok for you both? We stayed in one for 8 days a few years back and I was getting fed up with no comfy chair to sit on  :rotfl::rotfl:

Eye seems fine now thanks, nurse at hospital said to get optician to remove lens from glasses on the left side but they wouldn't do it so dh did it. Vision is a little better but as long as it has removed the possibility of pressure building up, I'm happy with that.

I go back to hospital on 11th Feb for check up and maybe a date for right eye to be done :)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

There are some other fragrances also no longer showing 70% off and the large midnight jasmine. As far as I can see cranberry ice, spiced orange both sizes and the melt warmer gift. HTHs

I have some frozen items that I have noticed are on offer in various stores:

    Aldi
Four Seasons Button Brussels Sprouts (1Kg) 49p
    Four Seasons Broccoli & Cauliflower (900g) 49p

    Farmfoods
McCain Micro Chips - Crinkle Cut (4x100g) £1.00
McCain Micro Chips - Straight Cut (4x100g) £1.00

    Iceland
Birds Eye Hot & Spicy Chicken in Breadcrumbs (2 per pack - 180g) 84p
Birds Eye Southern Fried Chicken (2 per pack - 180g) 84p

On frozen veg., I just needed some veg. for the freezer (I know - I didn't manage to buy the meal deal from T) and, as I prefer the Veg. Medley at Aldi over the Greengrocer's frozen version in Lidl (same price 89p) I went to Aldi. I also needed some more potatoes and T is nearby anyway, so went to look for the "Eday Value" ones again. No offers on potatoes anywhere? (I mean I exclude the 4 pack baking potatoes at 50ps and 59ps and the like as well as 1Kg packs from Lidl for around the same price, as those are more expensive prices than Eday.:rotfl:)

I didn't find the potatoes in T - and I nearly went and looked for the frozen sprouts as they were 80p before - just a single item I needed so not worth doing an APG - but then I thought 'may as well just get the veg. you came for (to Aldi) and get the sprouts later on APG shop'. So, I went to Aldi, picked up my Veg. Medley pack at 89p - and then... good job I noticed the two packs above, in another freezer, at 49p each:T. So bought one of each and therefore certainly saved money on the quantity (we do really need two packs of frozen veg. but was just going to get one of the Veg. Medley - the two packs I've bought, of course, don't include carrots but they're an acceptable alternative for me - we'll have sprouts, cauli. and broccoli instead!).

If you look on msm, will you find these 49p veg. packs on there? No:rotfl::rotfl:! However, I notice msm has the Maris Piper potatoes at 29p in Aldi and carrots packs too and all the other stuff that was cheap around Christmas. Surely this is out-of-date info.? I hope it is, having now paid full price for some potatoes. I couldn't see any 29p potatoes in Aldi but wasn't looking for them - I didn't think to check msm beforehand unfortunately:o.

In FF, the microchips I notice have been on offer a little while already by the time I get to mentioning this. This is given that M isn't playing ball on them anymore having had :(a short-lived £1 on them a few weeks ago.

The Birds Eye grills in Iceland - normally I'd prefer 10% off 84p - by waiting for that proper price at some major supermarket competitor of A - however it is below what you'd get by comparing to straight 10% off rubbish, bog-standard £1 offer prices on various ones that are on all the time at some place or other competitor of A.

Wine worked as expected. SEL was £6.50 per bottle but went through as 6 for £25. Many thanks to izzeyb :T :T :T

Missing the point again, the Rice Cakes may be £1.00 for M? (I've stopped looking at £1 rice cakes and now go for the own brand ones when they are below their 65p standard prices.)
