Can anyone share their favourite porridge recipes please. I'm trying to eat it now but by the time I've done it with milk and added a bit of sugar it's not very slimming I don't suppose.

Better than how my mum introduced it to me years ago. Add evaporated milk and a knob of butter:eek: delicious mind you lol.

I had a weight scare the other day . I don't weigh myself very often but when I did I was a stone heavier than round about Xmas time :eek:. I didn t feel any fatter etc. Bought some new scales from Argos , the type similar to dr s surgeries , don't like these digital ones lol. When I weighed myself I hadn t put another stone on thank goodness.

Tried on my old scales and was back to normal. Don't know what I did but it was a nasty shock I can tell you :)

mix with tub of any flavour Mullerlight yoghurt, leave in fridge overnight (no cooking needed) Add fruit in the morning, blueberries are delicious. Can be eaten hot (microwave) or cold. Slimming World recipe. x

A little golden sugar is quite nice sprinkled on porage, also most fruits will go well. I use unsweetened soya milk which makes it taste creamy, but in the past I have made it simply with water and it's been ok. Honey is good also.

    Blueberries added this morning. x

With all this talk of porridge think I best get up out of this nice warm bed and have some brekkie...as my tummy is rumbling ;)

Here is a puzzle. I have been having a play with the app changing my collection store and working my way through the local stores with glitchy RTC items in my basket. I seem to have found one that is near(ish!) that has many of the items listed that other stores now have unavailable including candles, razors etc. :).

Now my understanding was this is the store where our little A C&C and HD are picked from, yet changing to those stores does not bring up the same items available .

I also have not had chance to check the target store for RTC as it is quite a trek - I may have a drive out later to check the shelves and then if confirmed place an order for tomorrow (may be worth asking at the collection point too in case they have changed where the C&C is getting collected from).

Given the hassle I may be tempted to go higher on the order, but personally I prefer to keep the online vouchers below £50 to make them easier to spend in smaller shops and not draw as much attention, or am I worrying unnecessarily?

    Good morning all.
Well another job offer appeared on the table yesterday
I've rejected one of the earlier ones already so I'm back to 2 again and these 2 are both amazing opportunities.
My head says one and my heart says the other
My poor head is spinning :rotfl: I think I need a good glitch shop :D

How nice to be in demand! Congratulations on the job offers, that's fab news. Good luck trying to pick one! :rotfl:

after a lengthy conversation with M&S this morning even they said I would be better with a different bank account - all because there is no-where near me to bank, they used to allow use of HSBC but even that has closed down and they don't use the post office to bank with so I have no way of putting any money into the account now. So I am looking for a current account to change to that uses the post office, and if I am lucky enough a decent cashback for switching - any recommendations? Thanks x
