Can anyone share their favourite porridge recipes please. I'm trying to eat it now but by the time I've done it with milk and added a bit of sugar it's not very slimming I don't suppose.

Better than how my mum introduced it to me years ago. Add evaporated milk and a knob of butter:eek: delicious mind you lol.

I had a weight scare the other day . I don't weigh myself very often but when I did I was a stone heavier than round about Xmas time :eek:. I didn t feel any fatter etc. Bought some new scales from Argos , the type similar to dr s surgeries , don't like these digital ones lol. When I weighed myself I hadn t put another stone on thank goodness.

Tried on my old scales and was back to normal. Don't know what I did but it was a nasty shock I can tell you :)

I make mine with half semi skimmed milk, half water. No sugar but chop some fruit over it - usually a banana or an apple. Blueberries are also nice when yellow stickered :money:

    Morning paw sniffers:D

Just planning an A v W shop to use up some wombles......

Apart from the Tea bags and CG soup, I'll be buying

    McCain lightly spiced wedges £2 in A v £1 in W
    Robinsons Double concentrate £2.98 A v £1.44 W
    Bertolli £1 in A and 90p in W (sloppy)
Activia fruit fusion yoghurt 2 for £3 in A and £1.10 in W

Nice to get some "proper shopping":rotfl:

Just looking at the Birds Eye 24 crispy chicken dippers and the 2 for £1.50 cash back offer on Checkoutsmart.

    They are £2 in A v £3 everywhere else.

Buy 2 in T, should compare to A at £4

After coupon and COS 2 packs for £1.50:T plus fillers of course

Or buy in A with another Birds Eye item to reach a £5 spend and use the A mag coupon and don't worry about fillers

    Edit...think there's some crispy chicken for £1.25

    Good morning all.
Well another job offer appeared on the table yesterday
I've rejected one of the earlier ones already so I'm back to 2 again and these 2 are both amazing opportunities.

My son in law was in your predicament about 5 yrs ago. Eventually after lots of thought he went with his heart. Funnily enough I asked him if he regretted his decision a few weeks ago. He definitely didn't. He said he'd made the right choice. Only you can decide but I sincerely hope your choice is the right one for you. Good luck x

I make it with water, when cooked add a fat free flavoured yogurt, mix and add some berries - delicious :)

    Good morning All.
