I have done no real substantial shopping at all tonight, by which I mean I've largely just got the Finish and the essential filler items (merely a numbers game). However, I bought some Peanut Snaps - more of an impulse purchase - at 38p:eek:, gosh I am going overboard:rotfl: , as curiosity killed the cat wanted to see if it compares vs Morries at the same price. I'll let you know!
  • Thanks Bubbs and Nerf. I didn't think so. I may try turkey instead, unless that's stopped working

If you want tinned soups at the moment, the Baxters are 50p in M. So, I would have thought Baxters (vs M) might be better than Heinz (although that N/A Beef Broth isn't bad:D). However, you have done very well on the cheese so, like my shop, have far outweighed any minor loss on the soup.:T

Well that's me done for the month APG of £99.99 :j:T:j

The cost of your shop at Asda was: £156.42 £7.00 £152.29 £57.00
The competitor cost would have been: £62.70 £11.60 £152.89 £30.34

    To be 10% cheaper Asda needed to be: £56.43 £10.44 £137.60 £27.30
Compared to the 10% cheaper price
    £99.99 more
    £3.44 less £14.69 more £29.70 more
    Asda was...
    Not 10% cheaper
10% cheaper Not 10% cheaper Not 10% cheaper

    How was this worked out?

33 items (8 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison

And a mix and match vs Morries:D. But no reason why that should not have been picked up. I think probably gone from £2 to any 2 for £4 in M (fwiw, just means we have to buy even numbers, unless we are being daft and buying 11, 13, 15... etc. of an exact same version and not having the excess over 10 count, but even numbers are excellent as that matches the A mbuy that's in the system, I assume that's what this is).
