In the extremely unlikely 6 in 500+ chance that the APG collects its prices from one specific Morries store that I've seen, it's possible, from that store, that the price of 1p could be collected for the Bisto Shepherd's Pie 375g. Assuming that SEL was displayed like that last Wednesday or is still there tomorrow (which I can't check!). Even if they collect £1, which is the correct price, from elsewhere, the 'lowest price being taken' would be one penny. It would therefore compare to that. However, it's unlikely that they would key in 1p in error from this SEL, although they could do so if they were in that store and saw it like that, and extremely unlikely indeed that one of their six stores happens to be that store. I've not seen the SEL like that in any other store. It will therefore almost certainly compare against £1 for M, but there is a very small chance indeed that it might not. Not that anyone has any freezer space or wants to check:rotfl::rotfl:. Especially as it will almost undoubtedly be straight 10% off £1.

I don't think you could necessarily claim that the SEL said 1p if you saw it and therefore, if you were in that M, you wouldn't have a chance of arguing at instore CS that it said 1p and that that was what you should have paid. However, it looks that way from the manner in which the SEL is currently (i.e. as of yesterday) displayed and that's what could cause an error if only the very unlikely chance of the collectors being in that store was to happen.

Before you ask, there's no question of asking "will Bisto Cottage Pie instead work?" or anything like that, as the price for that - even if it is in that store and I didn't notice anything unusual - would quite clearly say £1 in the store. It is the specific SEL for the Shepherd's Pie that is the issue. So, if you don't like Shepherd's Pie, tough. (And tough anyway as it is almost surely going to compare to M at £1.)
