Lamewolf - interesting that you say about Jessie the lab as am seriously thinking about putting Rosie, my choccie Lab on them. She will be 12 this year and whilst is doing very well for her years can be a bit stiff in the mornings and takes a few minutes to loosen up, mind, I know how she feels x
  • Just read your blog CSARINA. I am so glad the funeral was the peaceful one you hoped for and you were treated with the respect you deserve. You have been in my thoughts all day xx

    Evening
Thoughts to Csarina, I am glad things went as you had hoped today.

Makes you realise that when you think you are having a bad day, you should be grateful it's not a lot worse.

Bit chilly here today, I've put a jumper and jogging bottoms on and am sitting with a throw over my legs so I don't have to turn the heating up. Luckily DS who is often home during the day as works shifts doesn't feel the cold and doesn't want heating on while he's home.

I have posted my grocery challenge on thread. Was pleased with how I did. Made roast veg for tea, it was lovely and will make bubble and squeak for lunch tomorrow with lo. WM has been on and clothes now on airer, no need to use drier. DW not full so won't put on today. Have meal planned for the week inc lots of healthy meals and am determined to be more organised with lunches. Still using up some bits from Christmas so that has been useful. Had chat with DD this evening, she is getting back in swing of uni life. It's her final year so busy time and bit stressful, am making sure she eats well and gets proper rest. Something most of us should do but busy lives get in the way. Better start the ironing now.
    Thoughts to all. Mrs D.

  • Good evening everyone,

Just popped on, I have read your blog csarina and am glad today was a fitting and dignified goodbye to your son. You have my deepest sympathy and my prayers.

Well first week back to work has finished and I have just been relaxing this evening, lots to do over the weekend.

Earlier I took DD to a friend's for the evening, and on the way home popped into very large Mr T's to look for any YS bargains. I have bought the most beautiful bouquet of roses and lilies, for a £1.00!!! Couldn't believe it, but they are gorgeous and have brightened up the sitting room and the lillies smell gorgeous.

    Night all. x.

I missed yesterday, by the time I dealt with hospital, work and customers visiting there didn't seem to be any computer time.

Glad to hear the funeral was OK Csarina. ( Do I know you from TSF?)
