Alas, we have a very specific uniform for my DD's new school here...unless anybody has seen a cheap source of GOLD blouses anywhere (ie dark yellow, not the sort that glitters!) we will just have to pay the £9.99 per blouse demanded by the proper uniform shop.
(And no, it's not a private school....)
You could try this link, they're a bit cheaper:

God - I can see your problem! Are they actually blouses or polo shirts? How about buying really cheap white ones and dying them - think dyes quite easy now, you can shove them in the washing machine and it does the work for you! Remember my Dad having a shirt dyed for my sister's wedding, turned out great. Good luck!Ooh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!0 -

Jenny_Wren wrote: »My daughter (11 nearly 12) is soooo skinny its really hard to get skirts/ trousers to fit and as the other poster said adjustable waists stop at age 10.
Argos have offers on school bags (branded) for older kids, eg Nike gymsack for £4.99.
Leicestershire schools went back today.
My daughter has just turned 11, standard height also skinny. We got her age 10 trousers from BHS and they fit perfectly. Have to pay about £5 - £7 but she looks nice in them.BHS do standard sizes plus a size for slightly larger children.Cheers0 -

Wot 4 - the £50 survey? It was an invite - cosmetic techniques, not sure where it came from, but got the dosh all the same, cheque for £50, for nothing much really, just completing daily survey for 7 days. About plastic surgery and botox - just winged it! Just tried the link but it says survey has ended. I'm signed up on loads of survey sites, sometimes I just get lucky! Think this one may have come through Test and Vote, not sure, didn't file the original invite, just the associated e mails once survey had started. Site I did survey on was labelled Revelation, but can't find it on Google.Ooh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!0 -
sainsburys have good quality cheap school wear. washes well and good fit. on 25% discount this week. got great flashing black shoes for seven year old daughter for nine quid. really strong fashionable ones.
have been pleasantly surprised by tu label at sainsburys feels a bit like m and s for quality and style.
fleeces for three quid and discount brings it to 2.25:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.0
